just out of curiosity, what kind of cpu will you be using and at what vcore? so that we know what kind of heat load we are talking about

personally id love to see some testing on a quad core:D

I'm not sure what the OC will turn out to be as I haven't had a good enough cooler to go any higher than 3Ghz, but I'm hoping for around 3.8Ghz with maybe 1.35-1.4v.
Well, I'll be testing on this system:

QX6700 ES @ Stock and OC
ASUS Striker Extreme
Corsair Dominator 2GB, 800Mhz Cas4
eVga 8800GT 512MB @ 700/1717/1003 (stock cooler)
Corsair 650w PSU

Watercooling:
Fuzion V1 and V2
Laing D5 pump
MCR320 Rad (6 50CFM fans)
Micro Res

So yes, it's a quad core system. I'll test stock and OC temps.

I'll be sure to let you guys know when my stuff comes in today! :D

i would just crank up the vcore at stock speeds only for some testing. I am not sure if you would be able to measure the differences easily at stock vcore seeing that the blocks are quite identical. not to mention there is also the inconsistency between mounts:rolleyes:

Hmmm, thats a good idea.
I'll be posting progress and things and will be asking lots of questions when I get to that point....

i would say it doesnt make a difference really..we cant compare the results as every system is different. Obviously both will perform good so...

personally i would test the V1 first to have a reference.. Then you can go on with the V2 and see how it scales to V1:D

ps: some ambient temps along with other info etc would help a lot to analyse results

wow u just went to petras, saw the new block, then came here! i cant wait to see the results!
if the new block does turn out well then i will be getting one to replace my v1.

so does the v2 come with a quad core nozzle already in it? or do you have to buy separately and put it in?

ya i see that now at petras, its cheap enough so who cares.
too bad it's out of stock.
when i redo my loop next, hopefully in a new case, i will get this.

its says

Be patient people!
Testing takes a while you know.
I'm first testing the V1 first, just to get a base to start with.
So far I've done two remounts with the stock washer, testing Idle and Load temps, and I've just mounting it with the Quad nozzle and am going to test that.

Ok, just did a second remount with the Quad nozzle.

Next should I test two mounts with the 5.5 Nozzle, or should I test the V2? :rolleyes:

First up, I'll test it Stock, straight from the factory :D
After two mounts with Stock, I'll try the Quad chamber mid plate, then I'll try the Quad Nozzle (from V1).
