Well, just know the P965-DARK has 4-phase PWM (like most P965 boards). It seems to work fine and be amongst the better P965 boards, this will have 6 like the DFI Nvidia 680 board, and most other P35 boards. Pretty sure it will be fine for power delivery. Sure, it will run warmer than ASUS' 8-phase or the LP, but it's cheaper and if there's any worries just point a fan at it. :up:

Also, iirc, 8-phase eats a whole shatload more watts (I remember reading the P5K eats like 30-40 more watts than the IP35/DQ6). The DS3 etc are 6-phase and do fine.

As for bios options, like I said in one of these threads...The Dark's options were fine (Crazy vdimm etc), I'm sure they won't tone it down, that would be idiotic considering this is surely a better board in every respect compared to the dark.

P.S. Let me know what they say when they respond to your letter, as they'll surely have some better information. I usually get written back from Frank (or I just write him), he's usually pretty inciteful. :)

I just hope the Infinity P35 is released in AU as I'm not too keen on the crazy plumbing and digital power reg on the LP

Does anyone knows how the infinity p35 will look ? I like the LP with green slots and i hope the inf won't be like the dark. :confused: I hate white slots :down:

I bet it looks similar to the dark. Black PCB, white slots.

we can see from oscar's post it can certainly clock quads well....that's a good start >> hopefully it won't blow like a napalm when you stick a 5GHz quad in there :(

My guess is it looks pretty bland. No black PCB. I think they used that on the Infinity Dark because there was no big brother like the LanParty P35 will be to the Inifinity P35. They've got to make the LanParty somehow look snazzier than the Inifinity.

That said, I'd really prefer that it ship w. black PCB and green slots. I really like that look. Or even the scheme used on the ICFX3200-T2R/G.

The roadmap says it's black pcb; granted, roadmaps arn't the final word.

Infinity has a history of having bland (white) slots instead of the UV.

man this board looks awsome. If DFI would just make their boards faster I would be all over them.

Hopefully this board or the x38 will be out asap.

No word yet. I'm sure we'll hear sometime around IDF SF.

The Big question for me now is this:

Is the transpiper assembly compatible with a Swiftech H20-120 Compact kit?

Notably, the Apogee Drive module.

If anyone has any ideas, would be helpful if I order the one with the transpiper or the LT version :)

It most certainly is, as of bios 10/05, grab this board, you won't be disappointed.
