yeah try as many RAM modules as you can
and try bending the boards too lol
my 4x1gb of crucial d9gmh are working fine on the board @ 415fsb so far.
2x1gb corsair 5300c4 promos were no hassle too.
1:1 is the lowest
I have some questions regarding the boot behaviour.
In what way does the boot but affect the board? How does a cold boot look like and what about a windows restart? And finally, how does it behave after BIOS changes? Does it affect the whole FSB range? My P5WD2 Premium does that when the FSB is 243 or higher, only.
Did anybody with DDR2-533 have success with a working combo? What about a new BIOS?
My P5K does at default settings 450FSB.
I have sucess running my Micron DDR2-533 running at 1220Mhz cl5-5-5-15 2,5V. :)
I used "Thaiphoon Burner 3.1" (http://cbid.amdclub.ru/) to change the SPD to DDR2-667 and it worked.
I tried my Infineon Sticks DDR2-533, they won't work. I tried to give them a DDR2-667 or DDR2-800 SPD by using thaiphoon burner and have no sucess.
So everbody who can't use the DDR2-533 sticks:
1. save the SPD using thaiphoon burner
2. edit the SPD to minimum DDR2-667
3. reboot and enjoy your new sticks ;)

:slapass: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I just flashed my bios from windows to 0304 bios , because my board wasn't booting below 500 fsb and now it won't post :S i've tried clear rtc ram like it says in the manual, but it won't boot.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
you can reduce vdroop like eva2000 did.. in cpu setting -> Cpu voltage damper -> enable
you don´t understand!!
I can't even access to bios, it powers up and thats it, the screen stays black and the normal boot procedure doesn't happen, it won't POST:slapass:
you board wasn't booting below 500MHz FSB
i'm on 0304 bios as well and everything seems a ok
Weird, It wasn't booting and i was ready to sent it to RMA, and i put a floppy in the floppy drive, the floppy and the board booted, the floppy didn't had the bios, so i don't understand what happened, but i'm happy again because my board is alive:toast: :toast: :toast:
Hi again ;P
I just find out why i could't boot under 500fsb, if i have the transaction booster option enabled and set to 1 i couldn't boot under 500.
If that option is in auto mode i can boot under 500:toast:

Dear friend, did you use the Timing Table Editor in Thaiphoon Burner to edit the SPD? I ask you because the easiest way to change the highest RAM clock in the SPD is to use TTE instead of Thaiphoon’s HEX Editor. Just press F9 and begin changing the first Cycle Time parameter. Than press Next button and select the final step.
Danke sehr! ;-)
Maybe memory or NB couldn't handle it ?? especially if he was using AUTO or low volt settings ???
