thx for that answer, now if they only made a non delux P4C800..
also with the abit and epox, do those even come close ot the P4C? the epox has some nice voltages..

Also take a look at these Mark2001SE lobby scores I just got w/ this monster => 3dMArk at 322FSB (2.4C@3866MHz)

!!!#@$èé(§
damn!
*puts IC7 up for sale*
btw is that a non-deluxe version? They're cheaper and I dont need the crap the deluxe comes with anyway...
Damn! Yeah, get one JC...I'm curious if it'll take you higher. I haven't actually seen any other version than the deluxe, though.
macci, that's incredible. Hey, at the same clockspeed/settings, which board is faster for you? IC7, P4C800, other? Why do you think you can get higher on the P4C...is it simply mem voltage, or something else?
Thanks bro...

www.snogard.de has the non-deluxe in stock, its a nice price difference with the deluxe too.
Its the deluxe version I'm using JC.
Zroc, Clock to clock P4C800 is a bit faster than IC7 or DFI 875. ALso the reason for higher FSB w/ P4C is most likely the chipset. Guess this mobo just has a chip that overclocks a bit farther.
but talking about FSB the Albatron 865PE beats the crap out of both of these i875 mobos. You'll see quite a nice WCPUID and SuperPi screenshots once I get em uploaded :D

I dont think you can 'turn off' PAT past 200 FSB, so the 865 chipset is likely to get higher FSB's.... right? :)
Well dunno what it is but just take a look at the FSB :D
http://www.solidhardware.com/macci/24C/360fsb_id.gif
Runs SuperPi 1M at 4209MHz too:

Now if only I could get the P4C800 up to that FSB :D
Guess I need to try some colder solutions for chipset cooling ;)
OMG
what are you cooling the albatron NB with?
water (+25C) and a 36W pelt.
That's amazing Macci! How did you manage to put a pelt on a 865 northbridge? There are no mounting holes... ?
I used zip ties and creativity ;)
omfg.. thats insane!! ;)
P4C800 is definatly the board to get.. wow :toast: thats a killer 2.4C i might add. only 1.75vcore for 4.2!! omg :slobber:
ACtually its 1.66V Vcore (did 4177MHz at 1.55V) :D Dunno whats that 1.76V Voltage.
how do you ever find a 2.4C thÃ:banana:t good :D
hmm... macci, don't you wanna find a 2.4C that precious here to me? ;)
Damn, macci...you should start a new thread with your adventures, bro. This is getting kinda lost in the 'P4P beating (not) Canterwood thread' ;)
You mad discoveries deserve their own spotlight!
macci did you ever do a Vdd mod for the Nb on the P4C800 ??
haven't tried chipset vmod w/ p4c800
That's just f'ing insane...periodQuote:
