Do you have an extreme series cpu?
I am having the same problem as Axlros75, my multiplier is locked and only able to move it down.Quote:

Hey Guys,
I'm sure someone has already talked about this but I couldn't find it after a quick browse of the thread? A friend of mine in the UK just got this board along with a bunch of other stuff including a kit of Cell Shock PC2-8000. Unfortuenlty he's not able to run then at 1T no matter what? He's tried lowering the speed (down to 700Mhz), tried loosening the timings (5-5-5-15), and also put 2.45v to them with no luck at all? So with that said has anyone managed to get any RAM running at 1T with minimal issues? Thanks for the help!
I've run 1T up to about 850mhz so far on the shipping bios. Have not tried again using the beta. PC8888 Dominator @ 2.4v, 4,4,4,12 1T.
Thanks Yellowbeard, much apprecaited! My friend certainly knows more than I do about computers but is there anything he might have missed in the BIOS that is needed for 1T to be stable? Last but not least are there only two current BIOS versions available for this board that you know about? I only ask so I can recommend he try whichever one he's not currenlty using (by the way is there a date or BIOS version number to specify if it's the Beta or Shipped BIOS)? Thanks again for your help because this has really been bugging him bigtime!
Anyone know if this board is available in the usa yet?
Dean
I'm almost positive it's not dean.collins! I'm not exactly sure why but I can't find it anywhere yet and beleive me I'm looking everywhere!
Yellowbeard, where did you get your board and where abouts do you live?
these guys have it, mine is coming today..Quote:

ABIT-USA provided the board to Corsair for memory validation and testing. I live in Georgia but, that's not how/why/where I got the board. I still have not seen it retail yet. I'll ask my ABIT FAE when we talkk again.
The IN9 will not have the Corsair validation for sure...Quote:

Using the latest beta bios, the EPP does not set the Vdimm properly. However, that is a minor incovenience to resolved with bios by ABIT.
wow I'm so jealous, mine won't get here until Friday.:rolleyes:Quote:

Good luck finding D9 memory for it though, Just saw at the "Egg" that the Corsair 9136's won't be available until March. I just got the last set at Zipzoom. This seems to be the case for All high end ram!
Where is the bios ?Quote:

Our memory has run just fine so far with both the 1.0 shipping bios and the .02 beta.
the .02 screw ly mobo, the 1.0 is the more stable bios for me.
So I just got my IN9 today and am having a hell of a time overclocking the thing. I can't seem to get my FSB past 1500...
What voltages and other settings are you guys using to get your FSB so high?
thanks for the help
You really make the funniest remarks all the time Noobzed lolQuote:

Yellowbeard: Have you tried Corsair 6400C4D in this board?
I hear there is a new BIOS with multiplier adjustments coming soon
My pre production board seems to have some strange issues, so I'm currently waiting for a retail board to continue my testing :)

I found out the heatsinks are not even copper but sprayed aluminium. Regards to this fraud gilgamesh as can be seen in that thread palesh sent, his knowledge is poor. He calls himself an overclocking guru and he doesent even know what a tuniq tower is! He has somehow suckered abit into believing him because they are desperate to get back to glory days. So please stay clear of this guys reviews and advice. you have been warned! On top if that all 680i have stability problems!Quote:

P.S. ABIT is NOT "desperate to get it's glory back" as you claim......They do small and STABLE steps ahead with much precaution on this....
They were leaders and they'll be once again.....They just have started.....;)
P.S. IF you want to blaim someone, then blame the crap 680i chipset....;) :D
I'm no overclock guru either more of a nooB more of a wanna have a go sometimes at it. But I fooled around now with some different chipsets and mobo's and I have to agree with Hipro this Nvidia chipset is buggy.
I have no idea whether new Bios or driver releases can sort some stuff out. Thing is mine overclocks smoothly to 453 here but higher is really weird (no issues on the P5B Dlx ) and the hole or gap thing is sometimes frustrating, I spend several hours to get it booting at 450 till I read a thread by GAR and FUGGER that there was another gap at that speed. (Thx guys)
I feel strongly about the non reference boards, we aren't plagued (yet) by sound or data corruption. Hope they can iron the last bugs out in the upcoming months. These are enthousiast boards luckily they are bought by enthousiasts who really dig deep into biosses, hardware and do a lot of research.
Cmon engineers get it sorted !!!! It's sad sometimes you get caught into the hype and buy a board that doens't live to it's expectations.
