and the highest vcore measured on this board is..?
where the hell is this 0307 bios Shamino is talking about
all i have and can find is the 0202 bios the board came with
hell you search for downloads on the asus site and this board isnt even in the list, but if you search for the board it finds it.
im at 475 x 8 24/7 1.47v windows and 1.42v droop.
whats screwed up is that 400 and up requires maximum chipset voltage for me. and it pisses me off big time. it wont even post at 400x 9 unless i have max voltage.
Hmmm beta
Use at your own risk

What voltages do you need to get that?Quote:

Gary over at AT said something about memory issues but i can run my ram just fine and dandy @ 1150 5-4-4-15
only thing i havent tried is Raid on the onboard controller since im using my own card.
Don't try that bios, It killed my mobo.
Jesus christ read that review.. this motherboard looks more and more promising :DQuote:

just got the board, set everything up, appears to be D.O.A. any tips/suggestions for getting to work? i tried different video card, cheaper memory, even different e6400 from another system that i know is good. appears to be the board unless there's some known issue other than memory which i already tried that makes it not post. is there a clear cmos, am i just missing it? tried pulling battery still no go.
Clear cmos is at bottom right corner of board and try one stick of ram in black slot.
near the front panel led's? how much stuff can they cram in that corner?!! thanks for the tip, already tried the mem in black slot. i'm thinking it's just D.E.A.DQuote:

yeah all i do is try min ram; all BIOS settings Auto; clear cmos with jumper if there is one first with da powa orff...see if 1 stick of ram works in any slot...hey i dont have your board but that's how i put neew mobo's in...never had probs with auto bios settings
i assume nuthing's fried due to a loose heatsink...just going over the bleeding obvious...any bent pins in the socket?
if you know you have adequate power and all your other components are fine then i'd be going for the warranty :)
hopefully some1 else will reply to your query cos my experience is very limited.
Felix add memset support for 650i :toast:

Thing is, it behaved like this for a couple of hours last night. Then, all of a sudden it booted just fine. I got into bios and set default setting for my things (read tweaked, no overclock) , rebooted and reinstalled windows.
Couple of hours later, i tried to connect another gfx for SLI. Back to no-boot-mode.. Removed one stick of ram, resetted bios, removed battery, NOTHING.
Just got tired and went to sleep. Tried again this morning, no boot, powered down, tried again, no boot, and again and again, on the fifth try it booted.. and then behaved just fine..
Any suggestions to why this should happen?
Not a clue sorry but smells like an RMA is coming.Quote:

Another question though, is there another software then Ntune to suse when overclocking in windows with this board. Cuz that one crashes as soon as I try to open the "adjust motherboard" thinge. Automatic adjustment seems to work pretty fine, but I need to manually overclock, I just dont trust it otherwise ;)
