Intel Core Temperature Monitor plugin for MBM5 (WinXP) - download now!

Rig is in my sig. Fresh OS install. MBM 5370 installed with no other plug in's. I'd like to install the ASUS P5B Deluxe fix to display my voltages properly though?? I installled the NV GPU plug in after the core temp deal failed and that worked just fine..... GPU core was 450 as it should have been, GPU memory showed 660mhz opposed to the 1320 that is it.... I figure thats x2 cause its DDR memory.

I just can't get the core temp plug-in to work!

MBM is now uninstalled via add/remove programs... I deleted the MBM5 folder from program files and coretemp from windows/system32/driver folder.

I'm ready to start from scratch one more time.... then I call it quits. What should I install first after MBM5.... P5B Deluxe fix, GPU stuff or your core temps- if all can be done.

ok here is what I did.
mm5 3.7.0 (original mm5)
mm5 3.7.0_3 (mm5 update 3)
coretemp 1.1
p5b data file
(I don't have a nvidia card so you are on your own with that)

follow the steps for each of the above packages and you should be golden.

Where's the coretemp v1.1?? All I see is v1.0 on the first page of this thread.

I assume update 3 is on the MBM 5 site??

still don't work?? after doing all the enabling on the settings page... nothing shows up under plug ins when I right click in the tray... there's an arrow, but no core temp plug in slides over to enable it.

Version 1.1 don't work for me.......version 1.0 was OK.....

Temps show after starting plug-in....but reset to '0' 2 seconds later???

Also......can someone PLEASE tell me what the 'system' sensor is??......is it Winbond 1???

Did you change the defaults sensors and set the read type to "Custom"?

Yup.......both on 24 & 23 sensors and set as custom.

Starts OK....then just sets to zero within 2 secs??....and for some reason its labeled them GPU2 ambient & GPU2 core??

Looks like those are user configurable....set them to anything outside of the 24 & 23 range (and anything else being used) so that the Core Temp plugin can use 24 and 23.

All working perfectly here, great to be back on MBM5!

Nope!

Entered various values and it makes no difference......it still defaults to the above.....must be written in the DLL itself?

- Both MBM Update 3 and Core Plugin v1.1 installed
- four instances of "HEAT" loaded (quick 3min test)
- close agreement with CoreTemp v0.94 (most likely a sampling lag, than accuracy problem)

Any reason as to why the plugin sensors were changed?

Just means we can only use one or the other now because of conflict :(

Nvidia plugin = no core values?

or

Core plugin = no GPU values?

i will re-evaluate. looks like there is a good chance I will make a change back to the convention used in v1.0 for the new v1.11

my volts don't work on 680i evga board :confused: actually the only thing i got going was CPU temps lol...CPU speed was there and CPU load

The previous sensors worked just fine anyway.....I just wondered if there was any specific reason for moving them.......but good stuff! :D :toast:

All I have to say is thankyou Freecableguy. At the pcper chaintech forum we have used the program for a long time.

A few of us moved over to the DS3 which is a nice board but MBM5 was a no go! You've changed that and we appreciate it!

One thing still isn't working for us, 12v reading? Anyway of getting this fixed or a know setting?

i got the second user problem again, dont know how it worked fine for days...not sure but i guess i never checked it out after instaling update 3 and the newest plugin, might be cause of that.....only other thing i instaled is the msn live from normal msn witch dont got nothing to to with monitoring/drivers etc

Anyone have mbm5 ini. settings for the aw9d-max board so I can monitor voltage/fans etc. along with the core temps.

you wont get it to work since it uses uGuru....i had abits al8 for a while searched and searched and i dont think it exists

I finally got this bad boy workin'!! I was having problems till I activated XP?? Wonder why?? anyways I activated it yesterday and tried again today.... perfect!

The only thing I need to do is figure out why my GPU memory is only showing 1/2 of what it really is??

The clock of ur memory is the "real" clock.

Or does CPU-Z show u 874MHz instead of 437MHz? ;)
