AND...if you do not have a spare fan header...ANY ground on the mobo or case will work.
Currently running 8x360 (1.3625V) 1:1 CAS 3-4-4-9 (2.2V) with ease, but everything above that doesen´t boot. Tried everything from 361 to 450... all voltages, CAS 6-7-7-20... only result is machine booting up by it self, LED1 shuts off (LED2 on) and two long beeps. After that another boot and the board is at stock FSB :/
LED1 off / LED2 on = VGA error, but changing to Radeon X300SE didn´t help, so it´s probably memory related. I haven´t tried change all memory latencies... four lowest options are at AUTO setting. Should I change them too? Or does someone have any other ideas cause I´m sure running out...

As the board is not as yet available in the USA, so they are looking for someone that can recover from a bad flash to test the BIOS. The modder has a long track record of successful mods, so it should be OK..... Anyone?
2 forumers from this forum have tried that bios :

You tested the Official 914, not the Mod 914. But the 914 doesn't have the NB/SB voltage setting? Is that what I read? That sucks if true...
Link to the Bios for D/L. thank you.Quote:

hey man...europe is the testbed...LOL...just relax....many other boards available for your liking. :D
Anyone figured out a vcore mod yet?
The 1,8000v option in the bios isn't enough for me (gives ~1,71v DMM)
I need up to 1,85v for cascade testing of my CPU so a vcore mod is necessary.

Is this board available in NA?
Hey PC Mod, have you heard anything as to why it isn't available in the states?
Is 2.2 reg max V on this puppy?
Yup... I've posted the reason in my TForce P965 DLX review. Read up the conclusion part... the reason behind has something to do with chipset stock limitation.Quote:

PT should be much cheaper I would presume. Any idea what the main differences are.
Also the easy VDimm mod should ease the mem options...
Apparently, the non-Deluxe versions supports up to 8GB physical memory. Deluxe versions supports 4GB max only...Quote:

They have the worst website.
Can't even see the products. No large images whatsoever. The pt looks a tad different than the reg 965... tiny pic so can't tell.
Thanks a bunch PC Mod. You're always helpful.
Biostar always has passive heatsink. I guess to cut costs they do this. They put no info whatsoever on release dates.
btw the DFI is running tremendous. Never got to modding the case so I'm thinking of doing an Epox 6100 am2 till the e4300 comes out... unless a GOOD cheapie motherboard comes out. Was thinking on the DS3 but I hate junkabyte and I don't know about the s3 even though it seems it's the same.
