A few notes...
I got this mobo from NewEgg, it ships with 7.0 bios.
No multi options for cpu up or down.
Make sure you set your ram to manual timings as the board will boot diif timmings almost every time and may be holding some back.
1.9 volts will be enough to post on most any ram.
Supports 2 ide channels, a big plus for some.
CrystalCPUID allows me to change multi down.
Ok I followed all the directions given to me by egyteam in the previous page. The result? No changes :(. Im still stuck at max FSB of 265 and I can still change mutli from 12-17....Is this 265 FSB max thing happening because im using an ES PD 950? I don't understand why.
No multiplier options?

Maybe future bios update will fix.
Without out downward multupliers they won't sell enough of these to bother with fixing it....

I have already bought a Thermalright HR-05 w/ 70mm fan waiting for the mobo to get here.
Please fill me in if I missed anything? I just want a smooth transition once I setup this board.
Usually you have to disable an option in the bios for multipliers to appear on the Conroes. Although it IS possible only the X6800 will appear with MP's until a bios revision.
You *have* called MSI on the phone and asked them about this, haven't you? (or at least tried to email them), before returning the board ?

This is a fairly immature board and we've only seen 2 results so far...and they're aren't anything conclusive at that. Lets give it some time. A couple of guys should have their backordered orders from ewiz by this weekend or shortly after. Lets wait patiently for some more results, shall we?
So does anyone have any idea on why my bios will only let me go up to 265 fsb? Dual core center allows up to 280 and clockgen up to 600 ofcourse. I would just use clockgen right now but my heat problems are so bad that I can't pass 250 fsb anyway lol.
This is post #200 and we do not know much more about it then post #1. Friday I get one from Ewiz and hope to post something on it. I can't believe nobody has posted any ss on it.:confused:
