Well, I keep thinking this should be Opp (also because of the Corsair C3's, I think, he was one of the first to get these). He's a 100% 3D guy, and his skills are beyond any doubts. However, I don't remember him running Aquamark much... Anyway many people here know him waaaayyy better than me so they could disprove my thoughts easily... or maybe not? :)

it's not only, yeay i get LN2 now i'm a benching god... you need some godlike skills to achieve such a huge overclock on graphic cards like that one...

for me, only 3 names come's to mind...

now, let's see if the 7900gtx's can go against x1900's...

It is a combination of everything: right equipment, insulation, cooling, chips themselves and sure skills. But, for example, if you have crappy clocking chips, skills won't help :)

Looks like Hipro's potential really big scores have forced his hand a bit further ( and just noticed Ricky and Pedro's excellent scoring too :) ). There was a hint dropped a 5GHz 3dmark bench might be possible at some point ....

It's hammer time ... but for who ? :D

Sorry, I'm flattered to be even mentioned in this thread with all those legends... but it's not me... :)

I do have 2 x 7900GTX and GPU Pots ready to roll but, I lack an X6800 at the moment... :D

And I highly doubt I can reach those kinds of gpu clocks... they are just insane!! :toast:

TBH, I find the result in 2001 a bit low for the cpu clocks and with a nature of 970. This means at least 270/280 fps (around 5,5k marks) more, comparing with the last known benches above 80k with similar clocks in cpu and CF.

This is a setup for 88/90 k... unless nvidia cards loses a lot of frames in the most dependent cpu and RAM tests... (I dont think so)

So this makes me think is we are in the presence of a guru or just a guy with no special skills in 2001...

Soon we find out, I hope

GX2 is considered a single card? CF owns it on all tests except nature.

720/800 clocks, playing with settings and reading up.

You raise an interesting point...I noticed that as well. Judging from Shamino's and Mictuzu's benches, it seems that the 7900GTX'es can easily hold their own against CF. Maybe 1k short or so, if that.

cf get's spanked in nature, but they seem to have brute power in car high and lobby high, around 50/70fps higher :eek:

Yeah took a second glance at the ORB and it does seem that way. Nearing 200 in some cases in the low detail tests. Guess that is a good score, being the best in the word ATM its gotta be. :p:

:( I saw on your blog that you just got an arc hold down, I knew you had the brand new rev GPU mousepots, and that you had all the hardware this guy used. Figured you got a bit excited and found ln2 before the weekend.

Has coolaler ever been a 3d guy?? Could this be his coming out as a 3d bencher?? But with SPI stable @ 5.4ghz, I'd be surprised if he couldnt pass 01 @ 5ghz+.

Great stuff with the 7950 Charles...760fps nature. Really looking forward to how far you can take the 7950 with a 6800 on your cascade. Thats an exotic combo for 01'.
Forceware drivers traditionally arent the greatest when it comes down to certain system/cpu dependant test (ch,lh,ll), but they make up some of the lost ground in N,CL, and DL.

Just an info, any chance to obtain intresting frequencies with E6700boxed+AsusP5W-DH(v-modded)+ Cascade?
