I've ran dual prime for 11 hours - now I've stoped at 3150 MHz and DDR900 5-5-5-15 2.0V for 24/7
Not stable, just going for high FSB, I'll do some stability runs later :)
Vcore set @ 1.50, anything more makes no difference

That's really high to be bench stable for a step 6 6600.
Its an ES :DQuote:

Are you using a Retail E6600?Quote:

Core 2 Duo E6600 retail @ 4410MHz 1,70v (DMM) Cascade (SS is enough, but I needed the SS for northbridge cooling)
Asus P5B Deluxe vcore/vMCH mod
Crucial Ballistix PC5300 @ 2.45v CL4-4-4-8
I really want to get that FSB higher, CPU still has some headroom but I can't run high FSB :(
i use a E6300 ;)

edit: can anyone measure the vdimm? if i set in Bios 2.45v there only 2.21 - 2.22v :(

ok, still having issues. should I revert back to an earlier bios? even at 3.375 windows crashed once. having to run stock speed now. guessing the beta bios is the problem?
All you bastards are going to make me order a new HS/Fan to try to keep up! :)
No mods, retail board, 1.03G revision, the CPU is from the L625A705 batch. The board will boot at 565FSB, just cannot get into XP at that speed. I am up to 535FSB and running Dual Prime now. This will probably be the limit of the board and memory for stable operations.Quote:

Otherwise, cooling is a thermalright xp120 with a lga775 adapter, videocard = x1800xt right now it will be left at stock speeds, 2x1gb OCZ gold pc6400 @ DDR2 800 4-5-5 right now for stability testing.
err, stock volts huh, make sure your vcore is manually set , and not "normal". the ds3 likes to raise vcore when set to normal automatically to adjust to stabilize the OC.Quote:

no, only with ultra scsi 9gb drives
aye, i had it set to 1.275, as thats what was grey'd out, so i manually set it to that :). i dont think ill be getting much further with my mem though, but right now im @ 405x8 still stock v's, +.01 to memory. What (besides CPU volts) would be the first voltage to raise? GMCH or whatever the hell? or something else? im just used to the old amd volts, CPU, DDR, and chipset :)
nice let me guess L625A batch on CPUQuote:

also, i need a link to that nicer new dual prime program, not the old school one ive been using, as its irritating to setup. Can ya link me? Also, im correct in assuming stock v's are 1.275, right? on the box it says "Max 1.35" but this is all @ 1.275.
CPUz during load and idle please
i dont have time right now, bout to head out to be with the GF :). she is leaving for 4 months to travel abroad, so i gotta spend some time :P. Anyways, hit me up with a link to that program please, the one that always has the green box with "GO" in it, annnnnnd ill have to get some CPUz shots up. have patience, im just excited so far :). ran through 06 @ 410x8 , and for me 06 was the killer on my x2 whether it was stable or not.
one last edit in ont he way out, for those of you that think conroe is expensive, think again.
