So basiclly CPU & DDR Ref Voltage option is not related to DDR Voltage/Vdimm or Vcore. They are completely new Voltage option to change High-Low Reference voltage of CPU & DDR. The option available from -100 to +100 at +10 increasement. :toast:

Will there be a new bios with higher Vdimm?
:hehe: I have no idea. I will ask them if it is possible to have beta bios with higher DDR Voltage.... ;)

Just got my winnie in. It's a 3500 CBBID 0451.
Now the max cpu voltage in bios is 1.75
Just getting started with checkin this CPU out. Hope it overclocks well. I have seen other people with the same week and stepping not too happy. :(

How is the chip and mobo doing now? Good luck w/ your oc'ing efforts!

I'm up to 2600 with 1.575v for now.

Good info so far. Glad I don't need to make a decision for another 4 weeks, although my X850 will have to sit on the side until I get the new CPU and board. TicTac keep us updated and see if they will answer if there will be a 'Special BIOS' for the AN8 aswell, if you could please. Thanks. :)

so i went ahead and order DFI NF4
Seems like DFI is still the best board out there

I'm using the beta bios as well too. Only diff I see is being able to change multiplier in bios, which I can't believe they shipped these things that way, other than that, still testing my new 3500.
I seem to be pretty stable at 2600mhz with 1.575v set in bios. ABIT EQ is showing 1.6v
How high is too high on the voltage with these winchesters? I'm already .2 over and don't want to ruin my new proc.

1.65v seems to be fairly safe.
