I have only seen info on the Aopen board and a little bit on the ECS, is there any real info on the dfi board? or do we just know that one may exist?

What if you pin mod it to boot up at 266 MHz?Quote:

Another reason for getting a 975 board instead, they are supposed to work with 266 MHz.

Mobo's launched @ friday if not another lye... :\
I really need to get this board and mabey a 2400/2500:slobber: Please tell me Aopen will launch soon in US:)
Can someone please enlighten me as to how these extremely low superpi calculations will equate to performance in apps, such as boot-up time, web browsing, MS Outlook?
I know enough about how overclocking effects 3D gaming and benchmarks but this Yonah stuff may convince me to build a workstation for daily use. Am I better off waiting for these Yonah mobos or just get a Dothan setup?
Thanks
Yonah for sure!! Dothan is like a Single A64, and Yonah will be like a DC A64 if you used both before?Quote:

I assume it's safe to say that any of the Yonah chips overclocked will be fantastic in a workstation. Yonah, Merom, Conroe...my head spins all day long figuring out how I can use these chips without blowing wads of cash.
hipro, we are really looking forward for your mods, cause i think we are really gona need them :D, just keep us informed :D.

Porobly Kyosen will update us soon :)
~35000 Yen = $300 US ouch!
is it really going to be that expensive, or will it be cheaper in the US? That makes it more expensive than the GIgabyte Quad SLI board on Newegg  .... and the most expensive Intel board on Newegg (according to search)
looks like a typo on Intel siteQuote:

I hope D-0 will have even more oc potential.
I think we overclockers wont get the d-0 for overclocking.. as conroe and merom are to close now! But still nice

Vcore: ISL6262
Vdimm: ISL6537
...at least, on a sample board existing in Akiba.
ISL6262 is used for MSI 945GT Speedster Plus, and I already modded it:)
So I believe that AOpen's mb can be also modified as same as MSI's.
Can you give us details of the brand from the IC's? so we can look into the datasheet kyosen? coz when i search on the isl i cant find it.. "datasheets are restricted to IMVP licensees only. To request a datasheet please email Majid Kafi"
Yeah, as you say, I also can't get the datasheet of ISL6262.Quote:

Great.. this one is for ddr:
