No one seems to be saying if they are using 2 sticks of ram or 1. With 2 sticks in any 754 board you can expect at least a 10-15mhz drop in max OC.
Let us know how many sticks and what board you have as well as voltage. We also need to know what PSU you have and vid card. If you just threw a 6800 in there with the new RAM and have a cheese wiz PSU your overclocks will suck. ;)

This is on DFI UT NF3 250GB (slot 1,3) All on auto except 10x multiplier, enabled CPC, 2-2-2-10. memtest was done with 9x multiplier to get cpu oc out of the equation.

Well good work guys. Those of you hitting close to or better than 250mhz dual channel with 2-2-2 timings are rockin'! Pull one stick out and see what you get. Most of the great benches you guys saw were single channel. I'm pretty amazed and can't wait cause Ryanpgroovy just sent me some VX so I can help you guys out with some suggestions after my testing (right, hehe :banana: ).
Bandwidth looks fine to me, I get around 3830 ish at 9x250.

I just downloaded memtest 1.40 (i'm at work now and it's a new day) I ran the ram all night long while I slept soundly. The ram ran all the tests looped so I would stress all aspects of the modules. 3.3v at 240mhz. It's very odd that the ram can't boot into windows even at 245mhz, but I was able to pass a whole 1m run is superpi with clockgen at 260mhz 2-2-2-10 1t. I'll have plenty of time later on to mess with it. My Lady was really giving me trouble last night. This seems to happen everytime I get some new hardware, she will interrupt me when I am trying to reset the cmos or right when I'm really frusterated. It's almost like women know. I feel like they can smell the new hardware. Almost like animals can smell fear, the lady can smell the ram. She smells the ic's and then they come in when you are at your most vulnerable state and attack you for not spending enough quality time with them. So I told her we will work out a schedule for me. Certain days will be my overclocking / games and XS, and other nights I will spend with her. That way everyone's happy. What do you guys think?
You should give her a good beating, thats what I did! Now my missus never speaks out of term.... :D
I think you sound just like me lol. Funny actually but also reassuring it's not just myself. Whenver I am the most frustrated is when I get bugged to things too. Drives me nuts. Days where I'm bored and with nothing to do is when I'm left alone.
A schedule will be good though. Need to keep peace in the house especially if the wife/gf wears the pants in the house.

You NEO2 guys. Make sure you adjust the LT to 3X after 260's HTT to give it a fighting chance, and obviosly set agp to 67 to lock pci. Also chipsets with early dates are not reaching the same heights as the most recent ones.
Thats part of the reason i didnt rush out to buy a system as soon i read about athlon 64 being good a few months ago...

just finished yapping with a Canadian reseller of this stuff and was told that only 4 1GB kits were sent to Canada total?! This one place got 2 of those 4 and that was it until well into the new year. I managed to snatch up the last kit on a preorder which should be arriving today or monday latest. I have an NFII board only so I guess I will be guinea pig on this. I will let you know what I come up with.

I just find where its erroring in memtest a few errors per pass then loop some windows benches ( pi , prime ) for a while , then start slowing going up in speed , even though I know I might be getting a few errors . then go back and re memtest later
I would start at 3.3 volts and go from there
I am sure more went to canada that that , you should try some other retailers if you cant manage to find it

long time reader/troll of this forum and finally had a reason to post.
this ram looks sweet but its so hard to find in canada its rediculous, i refuse to pay for shipping/brokerage fees from the states. i know its probably good business to seell alot of this stuff at one time, but to sell 2 whole manufacturing runs of this stuff right off the bat and short every other place out is crazy. i could see doing this after its been available for a while but so soon to do it. i just dont understand the logic behind it. its great for anyone near a Fry's store but anyone else gets shafted. yes please and thank you, I would appreciate some results before I get mine in. The only thing I am wondering and worrying about to be honest is the fact that I will never really know what the ram can do if my current board won't keep up. It can be crappy and only do 250 and I would never know till I got another board.

the highest fsb achieved atm is 275 on timings 2/2/2/7 also as my
Pifast score.
I only gave 3.5V with the booster , maybe I need to give little bit
more juice for more thighter timings. That I will test this weekend

so ordered some VX and a booster for $340including shipping to UK, thats only £180 same as the gskill, bargain if you ask me
Guys the way we released the ram may not make all of you happy because we didn't make a huge amount at first to send to everyone around the world. I think the idea was to get some out there and then make more as quickly as possible to get to everyone else. New products do take time to get everywhere in the world...even more so for those of us living outside North America. So just relax and enjoy the holidays and soon we'll all have some VX :) :toast:
