You should be able to get 1200mhz on the ram. I can get that on all 3 of mine. That give you a lil boost.:up: Also, 3.9ghz on the CPU should be at least 3dmark06 passable. I can give you some of my setting that you can try out. Our systems are almost identical.;)Quote:

Well what has work for me (i'am not nearly as good at overclocking as most the people on this board are) would be to add one more video card . It can help out to a point if you can not clock your cpu as high as the other guys. I do think the 3 4870 set-up is better than 2 4870x2 are and 4870x2 + 4780 . You also need the NB in the 2600 + range .I made my 22,137 point run with my 3850s @2700+ NB clock and the red ring on in AOD . Dam one more thing i also had to change over to 32-bit vista as well (help with my cpu overclocks).

A lot of that extra cooling turns out to do nothing unless you push/pull cooling properly across the box
I found one 120 exhaust/one 80 in worked better then three 80 exhaust/three 80 intake and a lot quieter too.
If you can't push/pull properly across the box your just wasting money
I prefer a higher exhaust(pull), it creates a "vacuum effect", it has to take in more cooler air

I found out you have take each case at it own merits how to do push/pull system

What NB speeds were you pushing for? I think a 3 hour drive can satisfy those needs.
