Using Afudos to update bios?
Hey guys
I'm getting the P5Q Deluxe (together with Q9550) in a few days, and have been doing some research, so I'm ready to configure and setup my system asap when I get it.
I will for sure update the bios to 2201. But I'm wondering about one thing.
I prefer to use afudos to update the bios, and all the guidelines I've read tells;
-to make a bootable floppy
-put the "afudos.exe" on that floppy
-in addition the "bios.rom" file on that floppy
But (sorry for my french), how the h*** can you fit all those files on the same floppy, when the bios alone is 2mb and the floppy is limited to 1.44mb?
Can you make 1 floppy "bootable" with the "afudos.exe" in it, and another with the "bios.rom" file in it? and does both need to be "bootable"? But then again, the "2201" bios is still 2mb and cannot fit onto a floppy :shrug:
Also, if you know which is the latest "afudos.exe" available, provided with a download link - I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance :)
