It could probably do better, but temps. rise towards 50*C....I think its bad IHS contact as i've reseated my waterblock 4 times, and i get 35*C idle temps in a 18*C room :stick: My GPU on the other hand is at 28*C idle and 45*C load(volt-modded, #4 in the 3DM05 ORB, #1 in the 3DM03 ORB for its class)
Still, far from shabby. I'll keep the IHS on, as IMO, a 100 - 200 MHz gain isn't worth the risk. Besides, I can bench at 2.9 GHz, and run super pi 1M at 3 GHz :)
