It's not pictured but I have some PT gel and a small plastic box Velcroed to the case underneath the pump so it's not just hanging there. When I go to redo the loop for my 8800 I think that I'm going to remount the pump up in the 5 1/4" bays.

i also like the rear case fans... i can only hope that my tubing looks that nice... cause it wont ^^
You could mount it like i have done, its pretty easy too !

dark-redeemer Nice work... so clean... congratulations
does anyone have any comments on the pink panther on page 308 as they all would be much appreciated thanks madeee p.s this is my first water cooled system
Madeeeeee
very nice for a first build...
not fond of colors but to each his own...
like the case... i think for my next build, i'll seriously consider that case...
I would have mounted the pump in the bottom dvd drive bays. that way you cut a solid foot of excess tubing out of the loop.
Aside from that, Nice case I do like it.
And, on a random note, I want comments too! Page 308 as well. I have more pictures I just have to go through and toy around with them in photoshop to fix colors and the such.
damn all you attention ho's...
:D
Some pics of my build;)when i'll have more pics of some little updates i'll post too:

OK, I've mentioned this build a few times already and I just finished it...in fact, it's so newly finished, it doesn't even have an OS yet. Before y'all flame me, I built this as an experimental shiats & giggles system, it contains:
Case is an old AOpen that I don't even remember the model #
Gigabyte GA-8I915G-MF
524 Preshott
Innovatek G-Flow CPU block
Sapphire X1300 (Gigabyte 7600GT shown in pics went up in flames last night due to touching top of the case http://smilies.vidahost.com/otn/sad/mecry.gif)
DD CSP-Mag
3 Alphacool Cape Cora
MagiCool Plexi Reservoir 400
Innovatek compression fittings
11.2/8 Tygon R3603 (I was led the believe this was the right size for the fittings I bought but doesn't seem to fit right:shrug: )
Antec NeoHE 380
30GB Maxtor & 20GB Seagate HDD
Innovatek Protect fluid

I'm not expecting any great performance out of this system and soon as I use up all the fluid I bought (enough for 2 more re-fills), I'll likely switch it to an all copper/brass setup with an Apogee Extreme and a BIP.
Got the EK Waterblocks from PPC today and they are sweet. 28C Idle and 32C load :D
This is what I have been waiting for so I could pair up the GFX cards...
I even managed to slip an X-fi between the big bastages.

I'm running off the Gynormo cooler (PA120.3, 6 Panaflo, Bonnie Core, IwakiRD30)
Still need to get a cooler on the MCH and SB...maybe in a day or two...it was a lot of work getting those cards LCed.
cyber, as always, beautiful and very powerful system. :p
Cyber, how is the first block getting any flow with it in parallel?
I've checked the 4 GPUs and they are all within 1C of each other.
To my mind it is just like an F fitting (or a T attached to an Elbow). The flow is introduced to two pathes. Neither path is less restrictive so it goes through both...
I think there is more flow from the terminal inlet...but the path is reversed on the outlet side so I think it balances out.
Bottom line is it's cooling so much better than air I can hardly believe it.
Nice one CyberDruid, did you have a single-slot bracket laying around or something? otherwise the soundcard would never fit :)
Looks like a seriously powerful system you have there, very nice
Can you please take nice pics instead of making some random shots when you move with 15 mp/h....:(Quote:
Some pics of my build;)when i'll have more pics of some little updates i'll post too:
You can see the worklog here:
I have a 5.1mp cam too but if you just set your ISO to 100, aperture on 2seconds and lay the cam on some clothes, nightsetting on for better colors, and a 2 or more seconds countdown. It will make beatiful pictures!
Just try and post again because your system is AWESOME!
Cheers m8

I simply cut down one from the HD3870X2.
And the X-Fi is visible in the pictures I posted above. Directly below the top card.

:yepp:
Yeah I saw the soundcard and the bracket... that's why I asked... hope you don't have to RMA that card... oh well just screw the other bracket on then lol :D
Must be a LOT quieter than with aircooling eh :)
Oh yeah. Once I change out the SB cooler it'll be tolerable.
Not sure if anyone else has reported it...but the SB cooler on the D5400XS is super annoying...
Here is my new wc loop:

sorry about the big pictures
What a res... I could drown into it :)
Looks kinda fugly...
kibubi is that res tri-angle shaped?
My P180 was too small.. all the HD's were killing me...
So I switched to Stacker, not the most elegant case around, but surely one of the most practical. Some blue plexi and a new watercool setup provided me a fresh case. I'm still considering to paint the inside black, but kinda have enough of modding atm..

For the people who wonder where my res and pump live (the pictures were taken before I finished the loop btw..). Biggest improvement regarding my last watersetup: the liquid from the resevoir now flows directly in the pump :)

The loop is cooled by a PA120.3 with sucks air from below trough nexos fan filters.

Here are some better pics of my rig, I took the other day.
Today i have most been
Flushing a rad, modding my fan cables so there 36'' and bradied, then fitting it all. Work in progress, taken way longer than planned.

Oh yeah, that is 3 fill ports for 3 loops. Just incase you were going to ask!
What do you do to those MOLEx-connectors atached to the Yate Loon Fans? :)
They are pissing me of, since there are two of them togehter with a 3-pin fan connector. :P:
Do you use all of them? :)
Hey Pete I like that splash anodized finish.
Cheers guys. You aint seen anything yet, rest of the case looks amazing. Just trying to get it all done is taking ages though, so manny mods to do.
Yeah, the 4 pin molex is there as an option if you don't have the 3 pin in your system. Also with the 3 pin you get to see what the rpm is
There you go...

I've run 7/16 and 1/2 barbs before and I would at the very least stick some clamps on your T? fitting as it does not have any barbs.
The T is home made with integrated thermosensor and its outer diameter is larger that fitings' ;) That's why I didn't put any clamps on it.
Those ek blocks are like secks in liquid cooling form...
not the magicool extreme soo much though. super restrictive. :(
Work in progress, still some things id like to do.
Attachment 74570
QQ clean cabling! imba job mate
Very clean build, I would really like to see the front of it even if it isn't complete :). I was thinking of doing something close to what you are doing except with a different lian li case.
It makes me cry to see screws scape paint X-X. Such a little detail, but it was an eye sore in my case, and it always catches my eye.
Those EK blocks with the blue acryllic look really nice on the HIS IceQ3 HD3870 (dark blue PCB)... until I put purple coolant through it. WHYY!!!
phillip684, beautiful job with the wires ;)
i love the overall black/copper look, too
i want mine to be just like that
btw, what are your temps? the loop looks very restrictive

holy sh(i) t eternal_fantasy! Quad SLi!!! Damn!!!
eternal fantasy...... wow
eternal fantasy, Any pics of the completed build?
Very nice setup!
Here's my first WC build. It still includes some old hardware but in May I will buy some new stuff (CPU, Mobo, RAM and vidcard). When the pictures were made the build was obviously not completely ready yet. But I think you can get some good impression. This week I will take some new pics of the final result.

Waterblocks for the Gx2 are gonna be trick...
Doesn't Innovatek already make one?
I know of at least one maker that is in the prototyping stage...
cant wait :D
Whoa, just spent like 2 minutes just gazing upon those 9800GX2 cards. Is it safe to say that you would be saving A LOT of space if you removed those monster coolers and slapped on some blocks, haha.
Offtopic for a sec: How strong would your PSU have to be in order to power those cards?
I think the recommendation for 1 is 600watts...
Thanks! I will update my rig's pics once I install the Quad SLi Driver and put in the second 9800GX2 :)
I also know a company that is on prototype stage, and if they go into production they will send me one to test out :D
Yes, but it is full aluminum... :shakes:
True on the blocks :D And better for the Southbridge's cooling...
I guess the overclocked rig at 4Ghz and 9800GX2 SLi will have to make do with my Antec TruePower Quattro 850W. Although they don't need to worry about mechanical HDDs.
