Just make sure if you get the Mustang, make sure it has the 'Track Pack' option on it. That gives you real tires, a Limited Slip differential, a suspension setup that gives you 5x better handling, its definitely the way to go, and if the GT you tested didn't have the track pack than you weren't getting the full experience.

The GT with Track Pack puts up skid pad handling numbers reaching the 370Z and Porsche Cayman. All for the price and look of an American muscle car. I have a 2004 GT, but that 2010 makes me drool. :p:

And how could you not know how to drive a standard transmission yet? I learned ONLY on a standard transmission, I think it messes the kid up if he drives an automatic first...

Well when I was younger (like 10) my dad used to let me shift his Ford Bronco which is about as far as my stick driving has gone unfortunately. My mom doesnt know how to drive a stick and she doesnt want to learn, so that is the reason all our cars have automatics. However, my dad said we will be renting a stick car sometime soon so that my brother and I can learn on a rent a car instead of a 2010 Mustang GT or 2010 Camaro SS. I will have to check if the Mustang we tested had the Track option. It was a 2010 Mustang GT Premium, so I think it was fully loaded.

I remember doing that in my dad's (now mine) 1989 F150 with an M5OD 5speed. :p:

If it was the premium it should have the track pack, but who knows what the lazy dealer morons ordered on that car. Thats why I always like to personally custom order a new vehicle.

lololol, make sure you empty your bladder before you get in the camaro, the 4.6 isnt in the same league as the ls3

is very very good

and is slightly better than the mustangs
then circled the skid pad at an eyebrow-raising 0.91g. - edmunds

Yeah, that is awesome for both vehicles considering the 370Z does 0.94g and the Cayman does 0.96g so to even be on the same playing field with them little two seaters is awesome.

get a nice strutbar and lower them about an inch and half, and both will be pulling something like .95. the 370z and cayman both have lower centers of gravity to help them.

If I was to guess before he replies, if it has any mods at all, it probably has been APR chipped. I haven't seen a sporty VW or Audi that hasn't been APR chipped yet

I drive a BMW 118d havana colour. Full option and i have to say it's the best driving experience i ever had, really i drove allot of cars from different brands, but bmw seem to hit the nail right.

I went from a BMW 335i Convertible to a G37 (picture on previous page). The G37 is INCREDIBLE, but nothing like the BMW. after my lease ends, I will be going back to BMW.

I used to think of BMW owners as uptight think-they're-so-cool deuche bags. And then I bought one. A 20 year old, 2000 euro, 5 series that is so cool to drive I would have a hard time replacing it with a more expensive new car. I like it so much and the maintenance costs are really small (about the same as my brother's Renault Clio Symbol).
I don't like the look of the new cars. I REALLY don't like the suvs, but they are great driving machines.

My brother got a hold of new US GTI 2009, ~200hp turbocharged, it does only ~20mpg! It needs few mods e.g. ecu flash/exhaust/intake badly, it feels very sluggish.

We damn near pulled the trigger on a G37 AWD sedan but I let the girl make the decision. Drove the A4, G37, 328i and IS250. Drove the G37 and 328i again.

328i x-drive it is then. Silver on black, everything but nav, which we specifically did not want. Smart woman.:up::D I'll have to get some pics up in the next couple days.

'09 BMW 328i xDrive - titanium silver on black, steptronic auto (:(), premium, cold weather, ipod/smartphone integration, active cruise control, adaptive Xenon headlights and NO IDRIVE. We couldn't find a car with those specific features plus the Sport package but without iDrive, which neither of us wanted to pay for.

'99 Jeep Cherokee Sport (desert sand) w/109k. SelectTrac auto, tan cloth, the usual stuff like cruise and the overhead console. somebody stuffed a nice aftermarket Pioneer detachable-face deck in there but I *think* the speakers are stock (too lazy to look). I need that bad boy for work, otherwise I'd probably grab an older M3 or even a newer Focus/Civic/etc. and go crazy on the mods. That's my third Cherokee total, and my second '99 Sport. :p:
