The date has arrived but not the time!:D

The web will be flooded with reviews once the press NDA expires on Monday, June 16th at 6:00 AM PDT and the GeForce GTX 280 will be available in volume on Tuesday. Unfortunately you'll have to wait until Thursday, June 26th to get your hands on a GeForce GTX 260.

Prices popping up in shops, not that bad...

I'll prolly wait for the GT-200b, 256SP (vs 240 for GTX280), 55nm, good possibility of higher clocks, Q3 2008.

BFG Tech GeForce GTX 280 OC & GTX 260
Simply put otherwise, no.
GT200 uses a special method for fast verification of shader logic- verify 1 cluster, then duplicate all over the chip.
They are not going to change the cluster configuration at all. Either its 240 or 264... etc.
OTOH looks like the 4850 CF is going to roll up, roll down, and repeatedly smear the GTX 260 to something akin to marshmallows chewed.
Interesting, perhaps the number is incorrect. We shall see. :)
