Anyone try the 11/07/07 Official Bios yet???
Update:
Been priming for about 6 hours now at 1.38125 vcore, so far so good :D
It's only been 6 hours though so there's still a chance for it to fail, however it's probably stable :)
I'm still on the 9/13 BIOS and unless I hear a good reason that other one's better I'm staying. :p:
9/13/07 or 10/5/07 Beta:D
Using the 11/07 bios CN linked. Working fine for me :D
I'm not xtreme enough to remember what I was getting in Everest before, but after going back and fiddling with stuff I seem to have a new high stable overclock...
No complaints about the bios here.
PS. If you try it DO NOT USE WINFLASH FOR CHRISTS SAKE
Brother Esau has had to do enough bold text rants at people
Thank You :horse:
yes very ture, i think it should be put on the first page and have a thread clean, if people are too lazy to read the frist page then too bad let alone the whole thread.

I previously requested info on flashing BIOS on a PC with Vista and a floppy drive, but haven't as yet gotten any response. I have tried to do things as per DFI info, but it hasn't worked. Could someone with Windows Vista please outline how they did their BIOS update?
Dihon is correct in how the BIOS date is coded. LP35DB07.BIN is the 11/07 BIOS.
If this is the case I really wish it could be solved. There have been plenty of bios releases out in which this fix could have been contained in. If anyone has any ties with Oskar himself, or anyone else who may be working on writing the bios for this board, do you think this 'bug' could be mentioned so it could be resolved? I'm sure there are many others besides myself that would appreciate being able to use that divider. Thanks.
Hi,
My first issue is that the self extracting BIOS file cannot write to the floppy because I am getting a "Windows Error N.5".
Then, when I try to do an end run and use the zip version of BIOS file, I am able to make floppy, but I get a "remove media and press any key message" after setting floppy a 1st boot device, saving settings in BIOS, and rebooting.
I even got desperate and tried the Winflash Utility, but it said it was "not for Windows 2000, NT, or Windows XP" operating systems.
I guess am going to do a clean install of Windows XP, and see if that works. I can't think of anything else to try right now.
i run both vista x64 and xp, i had the same problem with vista, dont try making a copy from vista, run xp on another crappy drive you have somewhere and do iut from there if you get despreat. or copy the file to memory stick and take it to another pc and make your floppy from there.

Easy go drinking with my friends, that in itself is enough to make you forget where you live, your own name etc etc oh & the fact that you used to smoke.
Its all quite nice now here in the UK to go out to the pubs & clubs that are all smoke free not so much for the smoke which as an ex smoker I don't mind but for your clothes jeez I used to have to burn my clothes after going out they smelt that bad the next day.

5:8 is working, here's another proof :D

I just wanted to thank those who responded about my BIOS issue, and let everyone know that this approach worked, and I have updated my BIOS to the 11 07 version. It shouldn't be that troublesome to upgrade a BIOS, but Vista doesn't seem to make anything easy.:slapass:
Anyway, now that I have some added tunability, I should be able to get some decent numbers for my system:D
.
Urgent Notice :welcome:
Nb and Sb and pwr on these boards are not all cooled properly ,
Took my board apart last night and some of the pwr modules where missing thermal compound, so I took the time a
reapplied Artic Silver 5 to them and restarted the board and my temps dropped all around enough to get up to 3.6 4x900
