thanks OC Nub, neoprene pads/paper towels enough? or do you recommend using kneadable eraser? which would be best taking into consideration it's for daily usage.

I would do some research on insulating for 24/7 use. Even with low positive temps, depending on the humidity in your area you can still end up with condensation problems.
I use AC on the rad for daily use. I just use clear fingernail polish around the socket area, then kneaded eraser, then FrostKing insulation (buy it at home depot). Prior to this summer I never ran into any condensation issues or had to insulate the board when using AC, but this was a very humid summer here in VA.
thanks.. i'll make sure to insulate as best i can :)
got a new 2600k today
batch# 3114B701
I think i saw Dumo test this somewhere.... and it had a x53 wall :(
I'll post results shortly
yea.. to a point, sb doesn't scale with temperature like previous gen cpus did. However Dumo said that with cooler temps, stability could be achieved with 5ghz on less volts than normal air/water.
Other than that.. you can pump more volts in without having to worry temps getting to hot.
computer lagged... double post, sorry
yeah Dumo tested lots of chips and yes its true u can lower temps on stable settings better than air or water however i wouldnt use xtreme cooling for 24-7 as humidity moist its a fact and will be soon getting unless u have a controlled ambient like AC or so, no matter how much u insulate it will come to your components faster than any other cooling methods
of course this is just an opinion
i would say that a good chip on water will satisfy ur needs of stable 24-7 and benching at least thats what i do on mine
cheers and good luck
Sergio
Testing a few retail 2600K costarica batches 3110Bxxx~3118Bxxx and found this...
http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/447/screenshot096d.jpg
On the left is chip with sharp edges HS which averaging 52X max (a few with cold bug too) and on the right is one with more common round edges HS and better max multi average.
It probly just coincidence, but theres a lot of things that don't make sense with SB:)

Good numbers there LS3:up:
Working on a 56x myself but I think 5672 is max for me(using SS). Can do 56x on the LinX 20+ run so not too bad.
Batch 3103B374......Gig P67A-UD7-B3 (F6a)
I think my 2600K needs some cold but its too expensive here to buy-to-try, my cpu does 5650 on water but I cant get it 3D stable over 5300 ..... :(
I just got a new 2500K today, but i cant find any info on batch L130C313
newer batch - Batch# L115B491

validation only, have'nt had time to do stability tests yet. i reckon this chip will do 4.8ghz stable at 1.38-1.4v
Hi
How good is a 2500k with a L049A796 batch?
I've just got one like a verey good one, but I'm not sure.
Is a B or C batch better than a A batch?
thanks

I had some prejudices against costa rica fab since cedar mill binning, but this one is a keeper.
Still on air;)
