Yeah real nice of them to drop the price after it went OOS again :D
It will be back up in price when it releases. That's how they get you to keep coming to your site.Quote:

Ive been waiting all night to buy the board, and I was looking for a cpu all day also...
369$ retail is killer :)

I added it to my cart, clicked on pay with paypal, refreshed neweggs listing for E6600, GONE! Just in time
Thank god, been looking for a thread like this. Don't you all just hate CA sales tax?
It's the price you pay for living in a state where a large portion of the retailers are located.Quote:

i almost bought one with the foxconn today but i decided to wait for results with the foxconn

I don't even have a board or DDR2 for mine yet. I'm still trying to decide which board to get or just wait. SLI for me is a must as I'll have a Dell 24" LCD soon. I hear you can run modified drivers to acheive sli on the intel 975X chipset so I guess I'm gonna go with the ASUS P5W DH DELUXE or Intel Bad AXE. I've only paid over $200 for two boards since I've been building PC's. The ASUS A7M266-D & the K8V Slot A. I'm having trouble justifying that much $ for a board.

I wonder if they saw what was in this thread yet..:D
Haha, that's good stuff. It's nice how interactive these companies are becoming with enthusiasts.
Got my oem 6600 from club it, along with all the rest of my parts from newegg..Hopefully it will be built by the end of the day.
