I ask because when I bought two pairs of 38mm Megahalems clips, one pair was conventional (flat, mounting over the top and under the bottom) and one pair was sidewinder like yours. The extra 25mm clips I bought were both flat. I like the look of your sidewinders.

I still have a Venomous X, one of the few that offer great performance with a quieter fan. With my fan (single Delta EFB1212LE), it's only 2-3c higher at 50% than full speed.
The speakers aren't! Some nice black Pioneer bookshelves can go there with a black Pyle amp :D
Testing San Ace H4011 for CPU cooler. Pitch and RPM are higher than trusty Delta AFB1212LE and temperatures are about the same. Delta was put on as top exhaust fan. Probably switch them back later, the San Ace works better as a case fan at low RPM, Delta has a choppier sound.

Those San Ace Silents are sweet. The Medium speed models are nicer IMO (-M401, -M4011). Might I recommend you take an ED500 Data Vac (it's actually a blower) and dust off that heatsink? ;-)Quote:

I had to buy a new PSU as my old Tagan BZ-1100 died, and decided to take new pictures. With the new cables being much thinner I was able to install an extra fan into my ancient Antec P182. Please excuse the crappy phone camera:

Finally we have reached the penultimate update of the silent Lian Li! I got my Arctic Cooling S1 Plus heatsink at last and installed it a few nights ago. I thought their G1 thermal adhesive was going to be hard to work with as after I applied pressure and let go, the VRM sinks slid around, but luckily after curing for a few hours they didn't fall off and I was able to mount the actual VGA sink. First off, it's BIG, but not ginormously so, thus most cases will be able to swallow it. Secondly you really do have to check the heights of any capacitors on the board itself, as it JUST clears the tops of the capacitors on my MSI 7770:

View from the front intakes, relatively unimpeded, straight to the two passive sinks. I may build a duct for the bottom fan to channel air directly to the GPU and out the exhaust, but temps look fine at the moment, we'll see.

I used MSI's Kombustor to stress the GPU for an hour, and as you can see the max temps reported by Afterburner (and Hardware Monitor) was around 75C (it plateaued there and wouldn't go higher, and in fact started to drop).

My Antec P182 just managed to squeeze in these monster size GPUs :D. I couldnt wire the 24 pin cable through the back anymore as it comes out at a point that blocks the first PCI-E slot, and there wasnt enough room for the top card so I have to make do with rubbish cable management, or buy a new case, but this one still works and looks great so I'd rather not.

I was going to try it out with the stock fans for a while, but they were far too noisy, so I added my silent red led fans to the case, but they are rattling a little because the screws don't fit in them too well. I managed to eliminate a lot of rattle by temporarily sticking cellotape to the screws, but will try installing them again with a better screwdriver, or buy some rubber grommets if that doesn't work:
