My first loop

Well this is my first time doing a w/c setup. Everything was setup on Friday including the Conroe (it was a long night). I didnt even 24/hr leak tested it; I trust my work. :p:

if you take the rad off the mount and move it around the air bubble will get pumped through

I'm going to redo my loop next week, can anyone offer any suggestions to make tube length shorter? Or any other advice, things I can do to improve routing, cable mess?

I'm using 50Z, Storm, MCR220. Btw, I can't mount the rad inside (at least not yet, so keeping it where it is).

Thanks! The rad is placed at the top under those two black filters. :)

can you open the back of your case?, as i am doin my wiring, i'd cut some parts of my mobo tray to route the wires behind...

also note that having some worm drive clamps for your tubing-barb-rad is a must,
also a little longer tubing going out to your rad won't really hurt to avoid kinks,
your rad contains air pockets if you don't move/tilt it around for the air to escape...

I plan on using Pentosin but I ditch it at the last minute. Just distilled for now maybe some blue additives later. What I really want is Fluorinert FC-77 but too expensive!! Will update some more later. :toast:

I see you have removed the Asus logo plate on the NB heatsink, how did you do that?

I used Toyota Coolant,Glycol based coolant mixed 50/50. It is a nice Deep Red.

Toyata has been using the Red for years,it comes in 1 gallon containers $21.00 US Dollars.

recently they came out with a Pink colored Longer life coolant so ask for the red if you plan on purchasing any.

No, I can't hear the pump at all, not even when it was sucking in air bubbles. Mummified in neoprene foam. Doesn't get warm either. The only thing i can hear is the stupid 7800gt which I should w/c soon. I want total silence. All fans are yate loon too.

Why dont you turn the rad around so the hosing doesnt have to bend?

I always use teflon tape when metal to metal contact.

did, u test the different between 50\50 and 90\10 in a glass or something. with blue pentosin u really didnt loose much color at 90\10.
i guess even 25\75 would be better for u
