How did you modify your Corsair H50? Could you provide some more pictures of exactly what you did and how it works? Did you add a res to the loop? How much does that help? Thanks.

No. It sits in the section just above the mobo where the fans would usually be. It is then covered by a plastic shroud over the top (so it is internal) :)

However, it is only a 280mm slimline rad and the temps aren't as great as I had hoped so I am looking to upgrade to an 800D with a 360 rad sometime in the near future.

Ok, i see...Between Plastic top cover and top metal plate of the chassis is the rad and fans under the top metal plate or vice versa ?

Which fans are you using ? AFAIK slim rads have higher fpi so need high rpm fans, maybe that's what is goin' on...

I am using some noise blocker 1800RPM fans so I don't think that is the problem. I suppose a slim 280 is probably cutting it a bit fine for a GPU and CPU. Oh well ;)
