i have changed psu and hard drive....
http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/3408/deluxerig.jpg
What is that CPU cooler? I notice you have the same issue I have with mine. The fan gets in the way of one of the ram modules. It wasn't a big deal until I upgraded to the full 16Gbs. One of those modules is kissing the fan.
My rig ain't extreme but anyone want some pics? It's the stuff listed in my sig below. It's not the latest greatest but OK for a disabled old fart. :ROTF:
:):)
Noctua C14
My Fractal Design R3, definitely not finished but it should be this way for a little while.(really need to do something with the ty-140 fans color wise)

Man that Shaman takes up a lot of place. Can you even fit a sound card?
yea i could easily fit a sound card, the angle does make it look like it sits very low but the two bottom slots are usable..i could fit another gpu i believe but with stock cooling which is too loud so it looks like im stuck with single gpu for eyefinity for now.
SilenX cooler? :)
great looking build seba.
i really should get my psu sleeved. going to start putting my build together soon.
Nice clean build Seba
a quick pic from the start of my new build. only thing missing from the pic that I got finished last night was that I have a Scythe Himuro in one of the 5.25" drive bays for a hard drive.

All fans are Noctua NF-P12. Will be using a Noctua U12P SE2 as the heatsink.
emailed Martin at PsychoSleeve today to see what he can do about matching colors of sleeving to the Sabertooth P67 board.
Thanks man appreciate the comment, hardly get any cause I have a horrible camera haha...but that definitely sucks receiving a damaged case...i hate ups for that reason they are care less..the case is definitely great and I love it, few tweaks it'd be prefect but overall does very well and is super quiet..i just really need to do something with the fans color wise just haven't decided yet on what I should do..thanks again
WOW !! Nice looking dust magnet.:rofl:
:):)
That might go well with the new deepcool assassin(?) cpu-cooler :)

This case is old and freaking heavy.
Actual setup. I will paint inside mate black in a week or two.
Enjoy and sorry for the size....I will fix that asap.

My setup for now. I have lots of plans for this case that first require me to get a job. Specs in sig

I have a quick question. I have a Cooler Master case that hase the LARGE 230mm fans. It has holes for putting in either 120 or 140mm fans as a option. Would the 120 or 140mm fans blow more air than the large 230mm fans? The 230mm turns slow but it does move a lot of air. I'm sort of thinking tho that the smaller fans would blow more and would certainly be able to force more air through the case.
Thoughts?
the larger fans can move air but the smaller fans will have more static pressure. I don't think its worth the change. Stick with the 230mm fans.
I do run pretty cool. This case is not as cool as my old case but it stays fairly constant regardless of load. When I compile something or do something else that makes the CPU run at full load, it only gets a few degrees warmer. Right now, my ambient temp is 80F and the CPU is at 82F but it is idle. I don' t remember it going above about 90F even at full load. So, I'm not complaining any.
My mobo controls the fan speeds. It does speed up the fans a bit when I get a load on it. I still can't hear it tho. This case is MUCH quieter than my old one.
Thanks much.

It's not extreme but it is pretty swift for me.
Ill add mine to the mix more pictures http://img155.imageshack.us/g/dscn0129b.jpg/ gotta love the Phobya fans

How many Noctua P12s? 7. Changed the direction of the cooler to exhaust primarily out of the back.
Love that picture hieuhef! Nice =)
Heres my lovely well outdated rig also these are pretty old photos but the computer looks exactly the same.
I've never failed to love this case, had it since I first started my project nearly 4 years ago now
I've done a few mods.. dual 80mm's at the back, dual 120mm fans at the top which originally just consisted of one 80mm fan..
Cut a few pieces of alluminium here and there to improve air flow, cable management blow outs aswell.
I also removed the hard drive bay out of the bottom so the front fan has no restriction to blow cool air to the GPU and into the case.
If i could do anything else to the case id like to give it a fresh look inside and respray it all, but I am so lazy, i've only recently just got back into the whole computer scene again, as you can probably tell by my specs in my signature!!
anyway enough of the boring stuff heres some photos starting with the shell when i cut out the two fan holes.

Over the last week i've managed to scrap up the money to upgrade my computer slightly...
ive finally gone to Windows 7 from to many years on XP and went ahead to give the operating system a fresh foundation by also buying a Samsung F3 1TB drive.
Aswell as getting another matching 2gigs of ram, to equal 4, runs lovely.
Anyway enjoy, let me know what you think :)
Here's my little monster!

horrible horrible quality pic but my gpu died and found out while right after taking this one and only pic so its disassembled now but since i found out its dead it wont be back together like this for a while. anyway here it is..fractal design r3
Attachment 116117
@InCredible: sorry to hear about your gpu...but looking at that pic, it's really bent.
wow, never noticed that honestly...i think the 24pin was pushing it down since it comes right below it in the mobo and plugs in above it...need to look into a reroute if i even get one from rma(its diamond so i doubt expect it)
What cooler is that on your gpu?
Is the cooler not the reason for the bend?
I have seen more pics of people with heavy coolers and bending gpu's...
its a thermalright shaman isnt it?
yes its is the shaman, ive had it for probably 2-3 months...like said im not sure if it was the cooler or 24 pin connector which literally comes out right at the card and sits on top of the end of it...this could of been pushing it down or maybe the cooler..the reason im assuming the 24pin is because its the back of the card right where the 24 pin is at...idk though, either way i just hope Diamond gets me another one :(
Damn nice rigs guys.
Updated my RIG and some cable management

But inside the case, there was almost no dust :)
I have that after 3 to 4 months already xD
Gone from a watercooled X58 setup to an aircooled Z68 set up.

My new RIG

Stumbled across this website while researching some things. What was I researching you ask? I recently just got into the whole PC-modding game. This is my first build, and it really got me interested in modding. My system sucks compared to the ones I've seen here, but it's a start! Cheapie CM212 for now. :D Will probably replace with something sexier or decide to go watercooling.
Tried my best to do wire management for a first timer. =)

Planning to replace the RAM coolers with some Arctic Cooling RC Pro, repainted white. As well as ordering a "few things" from MDPC to sleeve all the cables. Did I mention, I'm a total noob at this? I hope by attempting to sleeve now I don't set anything on fire (like myself) or break anything. The only thing that really bothers me is that little hump on the PCI connector by the video card. Don't know what it is, but it's solid. Don't think I can remove it. It's unattractive...
About them ram coolers. I made a little booboo with this. When I ordered the RC Pro's from Newegg, I thought each order was for 2 sticks of RAM. Newegg didn't specify. And it had a lack of reviews for it. I proceeded to google it to see if I could find an answer. I didn't, so just ordered one. Well. It's just my luck that 1 order = 1 stick of ram. So for anybody ordering it, or planning to. Take note. :)

By the way, anybody using those Zalman shark blade fans (black&white). It looks really nice, and comes with black sleeving.

^^Very nice, what fans are those on the front?
Thanx! those are nzxt fans and they look just like stock Fractal Design fans which this case came with. By the way the top fan is 140mm and the bottom one is 120mm.
