my rig, i got the big ninja
all my 120mm fans are on medium, my 200mm fan is on high. my CPU temps are 21C/33C at 2.85 Ghz
i am OCing it tonight and taking my time so i don't screw it up
This is the best I could do in my apartment, without power tools. Zalman and the two 120mm intake fans @ 6v, the red exhaust at 12v but it's a quiet fan. All in all whisper quiet setup in 2d, of course you clearly hear the gfx card in 3d mode. 48c while folding.

@ xcel: whats with all the foil in there man?! it freaks me out lol - if it were me, i'd be scared of it shorting something lol.. i see u use as sound insulation(?)
Xcel, that is some nice work. It is just so clean....
deepsilver, how well does your set up cool?
It's sound insulation material yes, 2cm of some kind of mineral wool. The shiny coating is actually non conductive and made of some sort of plastic, maybe it has an additional effect or is there to avoid direct skin contact to the mineral wool, I don't know. What I do know is it helps noticably in keeping the noise low and the insulation + rubber grommets under the HDs make them almost silent under operation.
Thanks, I could probably have made it even cleaner with power tools but I'm pretty satisfied with the current result :)

Primetemperatures are only 2°C higher.
Nice temps. I do have a suggestion on how to help with your setup. If you are using all the fans you could cut a hole for a 120mm fan to replace the small fans in the front and lower your noise and keep your temps low.
That is considering you have room of course.
I don't mod my CS-601 in red, that is my baby. :D
trying to be more extreme
