My ClubIT E6600 arrived today. They knocked $10 off the price due to the invetory SNAFU which brought it down to $329. They included an Intel "World's Best Processor" T Shirt, a pack of DVD's, a free game CD, and of course my E6600 (OEM).
Without much work I'm running at 3.3 Ghz Prime Stable and CPU temp has stayed <40 with a stock Intel HSF. Tomorrow I install my Scythe Infinty and try and take her up to 3.5.
My luck is :banana::banana::banana:. I get home from work, to find that the p5w dh is in stock at newegg...Then i jump in the shower hoping its in stock after. I get out and its out of stock..Now i have to pick a different mobo.
WTF is going on, i placed an order at outpost.com for E6300 and they advertise SAME DAY shipping. I placed order at 2pm and order still says PROCESSING whats up with that???
I ordered a Celery 326 with overnight a couple weeks ago. It wasn't until after midnight CST that I had a tracking number which didn't display any info. The next day DHL was updated and the tracking number said the shipment was to be delivered. Outpost must ship their stuff to DHL wayyyyy late in the evening, but in my case it did come the very next day...less than 24 hours after I ordered
outpost has DHL pick up after 9:00 PM pacific time (which is why they can do same day if you order by midnight easturn). Have a little patience 450tantrum:D
yea your right, i called and they said that it can take up to 15 hours to update the system. he also said i should have it in the morning too, and i might even have it before i even get my tracking number
use this link for newegg

better than the string search

looks like the e6300s are the best deals. Too bad I really need a 8x multiplier due to my noob OC skills. Heck if things don't improve for e6400 I may even spring for a e6600.
