That's the watchdog function "protecting you" from a bad overclock, partly the fault of :banana::banana::banana::banana:ty spd programming, my Ballistix do the same thing. The manufacturer advertises the sticks at 4-4-4 timings but programs the SPD at 5-5-5, so the board thinks you are running way out of spec and will be unstable until this watchdog function is disabled.Quote:

Anyhow to get around this, you can't make the changes in a single trip into your BIOS, it takes multiple trips to get past a couple of stumbling blocks.
- First time, set the jumper in config mode, and ONLY change the settings in the maintainance menu - turn off watchdog, C1e, etc.
- You will be prompted to power down and reboot.
- Do this, and next trip in, set up your board config : enable/disable ports, change boot order, all that jazz. Keep all speed settings at default though.
- Now boot into your OS and make sure you have all your drives and ports enabled correctly, and everything works as it should at stock speed. If all is good there, you should be able to start changing speed and voltage related settings on the following reboot.
