I ordered a E6400 from eWiz to finish up my girlfriends computer. What sucks is that I did not realize they were shipping from CA. As for the Newegg arguements. I've done buisness with newegg a few times. I like there site because it is well organized and easy to search. They ship things out faster then ANYONE I've ever delt with (next day on standard ground). I will admit they have gotten bad with pricing some things lately. They seem to try and squeeze a few bucks here and there and sometimes they have prices on older things that are just not updated (which I can understand due to sheer size of there site). I try to oder thigns from them that have rebates or combos. I waited for newegg to get the core 2 duo chips in. My thoughts were that I'd pay the little extra, probably get free shipping, and have it sent to me very fast. Also I like there combo deals most of the time. But when I saw there original pricing I almost squeezed my mouse into pieces. There was no reason for them to pull that crap. As a large online company I expected a little better from them. Needless to say they have lost a big bit of my buisness. I will most likely buy some things there from time to time if they have extremely better prices or if I need something sent to me fast but if at all possible I will be avoiding doing buisness with them anymore. For those who think they weren't watching the reaction of those prices let me share this with you. As soon as the "write a review" showed up on the E6400 I clicked on it and wrote a very truthful review. I stated how great the processor itself was but how unhappy I was with a $150 mark up that newegg was charging. I stated how other competitors sites were much more reasonable with pricing and that they had lost my buisness by pulling stuff like this. That was a few days ago and there is still no sign of my review on there site. I write very long reviews on neweggs site all the time to clear things up for people (like on the asus sli se board) and they always get posted within a few minutes. I HAVE to assume that they were watching the reaction to those prices VERY closely and the initial response is in fact why we saw prices drop significantly in less then a day. Thats just my opinion though.
Anyway it is nice to finally be able to post on this forum. :toast:

Yup ewiz has the E6300 OEM @ 189. Evidently the E6400 and E6600 are the high demand models so the E6300 is a great deal now!
For those afraid of the 7x multi... 7 x 400 = 2800mHz would STILL be faster than an OC'ed 3.2gHz FX-62... at $189
