Nice thread, I love the way the clocks keep getting higher through the pages! You should try what fugger mentioned earlier; to disable one of the cores in BIOS and check if it clocks higher.

performance summary.
Hey, since you posted such a great ammount of data, I thought I'd plot it so folks can see the trend.
I used all of the SuperPi_!M times at various speeds and added a logarithmic trendline.
Looks like Conroe will break 15s near 3.3GHz and 10s near 4.2GHz.
Cheers!
aint gonna happen before 65nm, i hope amd will have a surprise for us with 65 otherwise i am taken the intel routeQuote:

I'm still waiting for clarification, there's no voltage control, and the maximum overclock was due to mobo FSB limitation?
I also wanna know the temps ;)
And where it can prime at.
Sandra resultssss! Excelent stuff so far!! Is he done overclocking the chip?
someone don"t believe?
look this

Core E6400 - 2.13GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 32+32KB L1, 2MB L2, Dual Core, TDP 65W - $240 - Q3
Amazing :hump:
Only add 2MB extra because of his ES
Can you go any further with passive air coolaler? Maybe you should add a fan there and get 3.5ghz? :P
I sure don't want him to stop and see where it primes. I'm happy for all the benches we have gotten after so few. Keep doing what your doing and thank you Coolaler.Quote:

Oky is it Passiv Cooling
MMMM..... Passive CPU Finally...
The fan dircted on MB is to remove any heat build up around mosfets and stuff, right?
walk to limit:D

Coolaler :D its time for voltage adjustment and aircooled! (frost even better :D )
OH! Where do you think this will end up coolaler? At 450FSB with a fan on the Tuniq? :P
I'm very interested whether it is the chip of fsb that is topping out.
What's the word on this coolaler?
Guys the cooler is a very ordinary Tuniq Tower120. It's got a 120mm fan inside.
You should do a vmod asap coolaler :) Thanks for the results :D
Fan inside the Tower hm
Super impressive stuff. I'm dying to get a new Intel rig going soon!
with vmod.. it will blow away for sure... what a awesome setup.....
can't wait to see that board topped off @ 450x8 :D :D :D :D
Thanks for such comprehensive results. That is an amazing chip. Can't wait for what's to come with them.
CPU-Z says it got 4 MB cache, but I thought the E6400 only got 2 MB?
It's true, take a look http://www.tuniq.com.tw/Cooler%20Info/Tower-120.htmQuote:

It's not a passive cooler. There is a120mm fan inside (probably a high performance one).Quote:
