Well perhaps my two chips just coincedently crap out at the same fsb.

Either way I have 10 more T2500's on their way and another board so I can find out for sure.

FSB problems - like many said before - it's CPU problem 4 sure - ( and it can also be caused by high core temps!!!)

actually not that bad - once you get over the first few humps ( taking aside wait+stepping)

Current Bios is a bit weak on the Aopen - but hopefully soon things will get a bit better with newer revisions.

:( When you download your direct link it comes up 133.1. It shows 1.33 when downloaded but when extracted, 1.33.1. I think Franck must have eliminated the 1.33.

T2400 ES
XP90C + 120mmPapst + 120nn=>92mm
2x1024Mb GSkill pC6400 GBHZ (4-4-4-12)
6600GT PCIE
Seasonic600W
Windows XP on Raptor 37Go

=> FSB Bloqued 230MHz (programs) and 231 (screen)

Basis config :
CPU@1.5V; NB@1.675; Ram@2.15V
PCIE@100MHz, Voltage PCIE : Auto
Memory : 4-4-4-12 and on 667MHz (ratio 3:5)
Spread spectrum disabled.

Test to try to get more MHz (after each test i reload the basis config):
Dual Channel => Single channel : 1MHz more :)
Single Dimm in Dimm 1 : useless
Single Dimm in Dimm 2 : useless
Single Dimm in Dimm 3 : useless
Single Dimm in Dimm 4 : useless
Timing ram 5-5-5-15 : useless
533MHz (ratio 3:4) : useless
PCIE @ 110MHz : useless
PCIE @ 120MHz : useless
Force PCIE @ 1x : useless
Mem Voltage @ 1.9V : useless
NB Voltage @ 1.525 : seems to be worse
CPU Voltage @1.25V : useless
Spead Spectrum : -0,5% : useless
Spead Spectrum : -1% : useless
Spead Spectrum : +/-0,25% : useless
Spead Spectrum : +/-0.5% : useless
CPU hot (60°C easily) : worse (maybe 1MHz per 10/15°C)

I don't know how to do... Help me if you have an idea :)
I will try radbox and an other cpu...
I cna also try less hard disk, a classical PCI graphic card...

VERY IMPORTANT - WHEN SWITCHING BETWEEN CPUS - ALWAYS CLEAR CMOS - ACTUAL CORE TEMPS WILL GO UP BY 20-30C if CMOS IS NOT CLEARED

Some very interestings test : FSB limit = f( T° cpu).

Freeze double prime 10x229MHz when cpu reach 22°C (maybe a little more since very quick freeze)
Freeze double prime 10x225MHz when cpu reach 44°C
Freeze double prime 10x220MHz when cpu reach 62°C

=> Extreme cooling for yonah :)

Well people... mayb i have some really weird question.. In the manual there's nothing about the jumper (yellow) near the cpu ;)

Does someone know what it does in other setting? Mayb this is our fsb wall?

More than 300$ for a cpu unable to reach 250MHz fsb and what do I have to say : the world is beautiful ? If really, yonah's cpu are bloqued via fsb, I think very few people will put them into desktop solution.

It seems those tests confirms the cpu temp has an influency for the max FSB, that explain the japan guys could reach 285Mhz with LN2.
