do you have any air bubbles air several days....
also is the gpu idle and load temps different than the idle/load temps on the cpu

Hehe I knew that there was a image limit per post so why not make combine 5 or 6 images into one ;). I wasn't expecting people to visit on their PSP, I know I don't :). I gave up after I got that out of memory error too!
@ nealh, yeah lots of little bubbles for around 2-3 days, now none. You'll see your t-line water level go down, just top up a little at a time. :)
yes, there are a few degrees of variance between the cpu and gpu temps... my loop goes to the cpu first so by the time the water reaches the gpu it's already warmed up a bit, also you have to remember that depending on the cpu and video card(s) used they will emit different heatloads...
Prior to redoing my loop(still releak testing)..I found gpu when testing load would go up a few degrees
idle would be 34c but it would reach 38-40C underload which matched the opteron load temp when running the atitool 3D renderer
so in my cases it seemed the gpu temp matched cpu load temp..and my loop has cpu then gpu also..just curious since I have seen some very nice idle load/temps for gpus and was curious if my findings were approriate given some of my temp issues
Solved my noisy Powerstream issue by installing a GameXtream 700w.
While not totally silent, it is by far quieter than the powerstream. The system sounds so much better now with just a small hum from 2 x Nexus and the GameXtreme combined. :)
Thanks to OCZ for sending one my way ;).

So how noise level compares to just runing psu without anything vs. running it will everything hooked up. I had fsb epsilon 700w, which looks like ocz psu, it would run quiet without any hardware and after connecting mobo/gfx/cpu and booting the noise level would increase quiet a bit. Under load psu just went wild and it really presented unpleasent sound. Just for compasion I replaced FSB psu with Seasonic and that runs about the same wihout hardware and with the hardware. Also small increase in noise under load. Just wondwering if that ocz does the same thing as did my fsb epsilon?
Actually after stressing the system all night, the fan in the gameXtream definitely ramped up. It was almost as loud as the powersteam and had some chatter to it. Under light load or no load it's a lot quieter, but when that fan gets going...Quote:

Its odd how people complain PCP are noisy. I have the 1kw unit in my MM case and I can hear it over my Yates, but its nowhere near as loud as anyone claims during load.
Thats probably because your system is loading by about 50%, if at that.
Lots of figures get thrown about, but the truth of the matter is you can run x1900 crossfire and dual-core on a good 620W, with loads of wasted power in the 5 and 3.3v.
So you have a 1KW PSU, youre using about half of it, and the fans dont spin up... and that surprises you?
I have seasonic 600w and it doesn't run louder than one of the nexus ornage 36cfm 19dba fan. Nexus fan runs louder than seasonic psu. Even under load psu doesn't make much more noise than when it is idle. It runs 805 at 4.0/ati 1800xt/2gb ram/hard drive/pump/few fansQuote:

nice PSU! :D i love ocz psu's and don't think i can buy another (MAYBE seasonic)
Finally I am practically silent!! After switching to 2 x nexus fans the powersteam noise was killing me... I switched to the GameXtream and at first thought it had solved my problem but under extreme load the fan ramped up way too loud.
In goes a Seasonic S12 600w and what a difference... thing is sooooooo quiet. Thanks to Seasonic for the psu. :)
Nearing the end of my P180 project and time for me to eye another case... ;)

Hows the rails on that S12?

Have you tried yet? I´d like to know if there is some drop voltages with the seasonic and how it compares to the ocz.
I meant how stable are the voltages etc, dont be obtuse gocchin ;p
Interesting to note it has a -5v, works with teh OCZ booster thingeh - which id never use but thats beside the point.
by the way gocchin you got revision 1 of that s12 power supply. Seasonic is really quiet.
I thought it was revision 2 since it was sleeved...? It came to me directly from a Seasonic Canada supplier so I figured it was pretty new....Quote:

Sick build. Great work!
What's the 24 pin connector look like one 24 pin connector or 20pin with additional 4 pin?
Hi Gocchin,
Could I ask you where you found the PA160 ?
Nice setup :D
1 x 20/24 pin 9 molex 6 SATA sleeved... according to Seasonic it's a Version 2. :)Quote:
