Got my sticks today + 2x512 khx pc3200 old bh5 ..some fast testing:
Kingston stick 1 268,68mhz
Kingston stick 2 266,41mhz
Gskill 1 263.00mhz
Gskill 2 266,41mhz
Gskill 3 263.00mhz
Gskill 4 264,89mhz
Dont remember vdimm but i think its about 3.50v
Only fast test to see the best sticks. More testing after work.
Last Viking, What Drive Strength and Data Drive Strength were you using with the GSkill on Venus?
1,1 and MAL = 8 , RP = 5Quote:

Thank you, what I needed to do as well.
Some more info its very very hard to get 4x512 Gskill @ 250mhz stabilty... But with Corsair+Muskin+2xkingstone i realy not have any problem over 250mhz+, i have already been over 275mhz super p1m with 4x512mb on my Venus board. Maybe the Gskill sticks need some burning in first.Quote:

try DDS DDDS at 10-1 or 8-1?Quote:

I'm very interested in your findings Lastviking :)
I was planning on trying 4 of these GH sticks with my DFI Venus too
hopefully i'll get them in the next week or so :)
Lower mhz works but not 250mhz+ , but with my old bh5 250mhz+ worksQuote:

Little update.
Im Priming at 260 right now, its been about 2hrs in or so and its still running.
Only changes Ive made was loosen TREF, RP and MAL, voltage at 3.55 with 3.5 BIOS selected.
As of right now Im still in a colosed case but I have a fan blowing from my side window, does anybody know of a good way to mount of fan over the RAM while still being in a case?
Build a simple fan shroud/duct to direct air directly over the ram? Might not look pretty but with some cardboard and packing tape it should be easy and effective. Just a thought.
I have seen people with fans screwed straight on to the motherboard over the RAM but their setup was outside of the case, does this mean for me to do that I have to have it outside?
Also, a little update.
At 260, Prime95 failed after 3hrs 50mins.
Im running Large FFT, is this the best one to test the RAM or is blend?
yes prime large fft best for testing memory (including cpu), I ran it for 7-8 hrs (2 loops), or else you can test wit spi32M for 3-4 times, if passed, it also passed prime.Quote:

i had to get a friend in the US to buy and ship mine to the UK for me
Any more results?
Mine can do 32M 270MHz with 3.6V (mine are not from GStechnician)
At 3.7V i get loads of errors in memtest, didn't bother trying to stabilize, i don't think the sticks will take 3.7V
I got them to accept 3.5V+ after 1,5 hour of memtesting test 5 looping when it went from at least 4-8 errors per pass to zero per pass.
270MHz is a bit on the edge, perhaps burning in some more might make it 100% errorfree but i'm a bit reluctant to let it loop memtest all night at 3.6V.
Am i a chicken? :D
Stil burning in.. mine sticks cant take 3.83v yet and the only another vdimms i have tested is 3.33v,3,42v,3.51vQuote:

I passed 32M but it wont go that far with Prime.
Voltage right now is 3.66 (3.6 BIOS selected).
Does BH-5 react to changes in timings as much as other ICs or just mostly voltage?
EDIT:
32M passed but fails after 2mins with Prime blend?
Whats going on here?
