Good point but I didn't think to ask. I got the info from a DFI rep named Ming-Huey Jeng. He got right back to me after I emailed him so you'll probably get a quick response to any questions you have. His email is.......................

hmm... using aluminium caps instead of standard ones will cost them like 5 cents more per cap MAX. even though it may be the best s939 board ever made at this moment, I cannot justify the 300 euro price tag

I guess the usa is out of luck on this one? Quite frankly the idea of the AM2 platform upgrade is going to be a pretty expensive upgrade, needing new cpu, MB, ram, heatsink/cooling block type, etc, so maybe the venus is not such a bad idea at this time.

Yup and thanks to Pyr0 and the link he gave me. I have now pre-ordered mine. I hope they have enough not to cancel my order due to supply and demand issues. aka not enough for me.
