Damn... STONKA got another gem! his last one was like my KAB2E... 0532XPMW ... or was it XPAW? mine is running at 3ghz now, lidless with 1.55 vcore... I guess that's pretty good all things considered... but I am staving my magic beans for a nice DC. ;)
This is my Old 0508EPMW it was also a Super CPU all results p95 Stable without IHS an Water cooled !!
3230Mhz= 1.56V <<<< This one was only p95 Stable at 17c Room Temp all another results Testet by 22c Room Temp.
3160Mhz= 1.52V
3130Mhz=1.5V
3100Mhz=1.47V
3000Mhz=1.39V

PEOPLE!!! I have two choices!!!
- KAB3E 0547GPMW without guaranteed overclock (in a shop, boxed)
- KAB2E guaranteed @ 3080Mhz 1,568V (from a guy)
What would you buy? (Almost same price... a bit cheaper the one from the guy)
I don't know what to do, even if liking the risk I am still inclined to the KAB3E seeing your results.
PLEASE HELP ME!!! :D

You berly put any volts into it. :/ Thats not even close to a max OC with volts lower then 1.6v thats wimpy aspecialy since you have a DFI board.

@ bachus - smudging out serial protects the owner (or any future owner) from not being able to RMA in the future. I.e. you overclock your chip and post your results plus a photo of the serial, down the track you kill it and go for RMA to be told "sorry you overclocked it".
@ SIOUX - in your photo of the watercooling, i notice you have the radiator sitting flat face down on the table. Cant be good for air flow mate ;)
The KAB3E if im correct are these a new stepping. ie im looking to buy one so id sooner know than risk buying one.

I am wondering if I should return this KAB3E 0546GPBW and get a KAB2E 0546GPMW... Seems like the "M" instead of the "B" makes a huge difference?

At the night i primed at 1.53V and 3320Mhz Water cooled at with IHS !!
But the Window was Open because i need under 39c Load Temp .
Toomorow i remove the Ihs than i can push it over 1.6V and the Temps were under 39c by 22c Room Temp :) je Bayby
I think 3370 or over i can stable primed !! Cooming Soon
