Nvidia themselves said this too. Otherwise they wouldn't have overvolted and overclocked the 7800GTX just to take it back ;)Quote:

So, what if you bought a Sapphire XTX and CF, would they run asynchronous?
Yes.

No, the two cards work at the frequencies of the slowest one.
I guess it's splitting hairs, but it implies that the "crown" is rightfully ATI's. I'm a fanboy of neither, I just think that without the word "back" the news post seems more professional.Quote:

Over 10k in 3DMark`05 is very interesting indeed.
As X1800XL already off the line and X1800XT reducing stock will make this one appear very fast.
Even faster than you may think. They are now IN STOCK and AVAILABLE for purchase:Quote:

I just scored one oem for $509.20 shipped from actbuy...

If the 1900Xl really turns out like that, then its über schweet! :toast:
As I've stated previously....its an XL...and because ATI can't disable any pipes on it, it'll be a X1900XT in disguise for anyone wanting to put a vf-700 on it for amazing scores.

unless they pull the x800xl trick and put a 25mhz crystal on it.
So X1900 Vanilla costs just as much as X1800XT
Guess I have to wait till all R520 cards are sold :p:
how are they selling these things when the NDA isnt lifted? lol always tryin to be the first store to have them
Someone get one and overclock it already :slap:
omg I want one. 10K STOCK W/ AN FX53!! :slobber:
i'll be order'n a x1900CF and x1900xtx(if they stay priced around $650) and a manta board once everything becomes available hopefully next week. Wont have a dual core for a little while depending if i have to spring for a ocz600 or not and i prolly will. My old ocz520adj is border line with 33a on the 12v rail. Would still like to wait and see if any of those 89w ADV4400 x2's pop up anywhere before i go dual core tho
LOL, they took it down.Quote:

What's this 25mhz crystal thing? This is the first time I've heard about it.Quote:
