Sorry for the noobiness(i could probably figured this out searching but would take to much time)but....
If the opty 144 and fx57 are so alike how come the fx has ht speed of 2000 and
opty 1000???? :confused:
they're the same. the ht link is ddr, thus 1000mhz = 2000mhz effective :D
But why is it that they put on the amd site, that the fx57 is ht @ 2000Mhz and the opteron @ 1000...?
HT -> 5x200 MHz = 1 GHz for all A64
Omg I got so confused by all different motherboards...
While comparing DFI nforce4 Sli, they mentioned 2000Mt/s and the MSI-k8N neo2 it was 1 ghz...and the stuff on the amd site got me confused...
thanks anyway
Guys, DFI does not and will not support Opteron CPUs......just great :rolleyes:

you can't compare Mt/s and mhz :p:Quote:

sad stuff dino.. i see no reason for such a thing though, limits the opteron market. :slapass:
I don't even care if it's not supported--so long as it works :D
