yea but his temps aren't that great....and even people on water usually don't venture to 1.8. It probably won't scale and will just put out excess heat. Who knows...his chip might scale great with 1.8 volts, but the 64's are a smaller process and usually do not like that big a hike in voltage.

I just got my stuff from Ewiz today. One whole week to get the ground shipping, lol. Anyways, it's a LBBWE 0528CPBW. How are these doin? I think evetS-, and AiRAzN23 got them as well. How are they doin? Mine will be goin on water to replace my current Venice... let's hope it works out well. I'm hopefully going to have time Sunday to do this b/c I'm busy tonight and tomorrow. :(

I got the same stepping from eWiz also earlier this week. The best this thing will do is 2.5GHz @ 1.6V prime overnight. I was hoping for 9x300 @ 2.7GHz, but can't even prime for 1 minute with 2.6GHz. Very very disappointed in this new BW/E6 chip. I wished I had purchased the BP stepping instead.

I noticed under CPU-Z your revision shows E3. Can you post the exactly stepping of your cpu please?

The supposed BW/E6 cpu I purchased from eWiz leaves the revision box as blank under CPU-Z (v1.30).

I guess you don't even need to ask about these any more. After reading the whole thread, it's pretty apparent that the lastest venices, E6s, are pretty bad on the average. There will always be a few exceptions however.

:( I guess I'm the only one that got a good chip huh? Godman has the same batch and stepping as me, so it'll be interesting to see what he can do. If he can't scale as high then that means we can finally put that stepping myth to rest

My 3000+ E6 from ewiz will be here on Monday. If it's the same stepping as the rest of the turds coming out of this ewiz batch I doubt I'll waste my time with even opening it. :p:

Edit3: It seems SP2004 doesn't actually detect anything... Just estimates.

My chip seems to hit a wall at 290x9, can't get it stable even at 1.77v. Anyways, 260x9 for everyday seems decent to me...pretty bad OC if you ask me.

e6 should be f-f-2 (family-model-stepping in cpuz).

I'll prime it for longer when I get back from my vacation. I primed it for about 9 or 10 hrs actually, don't remember but I stopped it to play some cs s for 3 or 4 hours so I think its pretty damn stable. ill get back to you guys on it on tuesday or wed.

There you go - 1.45v at the moment, before you say I can go higher, I'm on a sonic tower, I can't get these low temps on hot days.

12 hours prime95 and still going.

The 300x9, is totally unstable, can't even start superpi. I just wanted a screenie of it =\.

Kun tuossa shotissa on testauksessa 24/7 kellot, ei muistien kelloja voi paljoa nostaa ilman merkittävästi suurempaa vDimm:iä - eli ilman tuuletinta.
