20->24 pin adaptors are utterly worthless because of the whole point for having 24 pins :)
You know , at first i have used the adaptor and my BH5 can run @ 270 3.6v , but 275 is no go .Quote:

After all , i can bench at 281 3.7v and stable at 275 3.6v , the rails are rock without the adaptor
And my PSU is a Enermax 465 460W
running 20 pin I couldnt install windows for nothin. using the adaptor, and my custom hard mod, I can run perfectly fine.. my rails never changed  my max oc doesnt change a bit wether I run 20 or 24 pins, but using 20 windows craps out in the install... after install tho.. it runs perfectly fine :stick:Quote:

Ok, that's different from a useless adaptor :p
Can't wait to see this board review................
hope it will be rock stable and too buggy like the nf4..........
Always been fan of Nvidia, but i may change for once ;p
Talked to ATi rep at AMD tour today.. he said Crossfire will be out middle of August. DFI & Gigabyte boards to be the first out. Sapphire to follow soon after ;)
He, finaly the waiting game will eventualy payback with lots of new hardware to be released in August/September (ATI mobos, R520, cheap AMD dual core, Creative's X-Fi wich should set a new landmark in PC sound).
Bob was right!!!
"Good things come to those who wait" :hehe:
hey Ivan, you have any linkie to confirm that? I want a Grouper board really bad, but now that the Abit AN8 Ultra is out in US I am seriously thinking of getting it so I can finish system. I would rather go ATI if possible though, but I have been waiting patiently for like 3 months now ;-) If it will only be another month i can wait, and then go X2 at the same time with the extra time to save up =P
No linkie, it was an oral conversation in person. DFI should definitely hit the streets at crossfire launch in mid august.
So you used the +5V jumper with your 20pin psu without the adapter?Quote:

yup got the same pcpc 510 sli. I aint giving this baby up only cause a mobo manuf decides everyone should get a new psu if they want to play with their boards. If the board requires an 8pin im going to plug in an 8pin, not a 4pin and risk stability.
so yours have 8pin connector ?Quote:
