Hi people! first post :D
Somebody recommend me some new RAM to replace this please.

Wont go much higher even on a divider and lower multi. Budget is £150/$300
Thanks
ok, this is in my shuttle SN95G5 Nforce 3 ultra chipset xpc...HTT maxes out at 280 in bios, and i needed a divider on my crappy ram, but....
Venice 3000+ retail from newegg
LBBLE 0515FPDW
motherboard is definitely holding this cpu back, no doubt. if i could raise HTT higher (maybe with clockgen i can) i bet it will go higher. rig is silent as well...
EDIT: here is the link to my validation screen:

Clockgen will let you go above 280 with the SN95G5.
i hit 300 with clockgen with stock voltage and then 30 sec. later it reboot. i will try again later with more vcore.Quote:

these new Venice cores (IF I could get a good one) are really starting to tempt me away from my beloved 2.8c M0
Apparently the 0517 make very good work. It is at least much improves that my 0516EPEW that does 2.8@1.75v.
Somebody knows of where are dispatching the new weeks but in U.S.?
Thanks
I think I'll drop by Monarch tomorrow and see if they are still on the 0516s or if they have moved on to the 0517s :)
is it heat my problem i can't get it to run 300*9 ?
i have zalman 7000b alcu
i can run it easily 280*9 at 1.375v
I am no expert regarding Venice but your cooler is certainly not classified as being "high end" such as the Thermalright XP90 or XP120 :)Quote:

So no one knows anything about my GPHW? I dont have a clue what this can do and i see everyone with differnt ones..
I might sell and get a better stepping one?
Ill wait to make my conclusion next wek when my PC4000 arrives...
Hey Sobo, nice work to put this list together. Now how about to sort this out by stepping AND week so we can see the progress of new batches...
Aint problem for me, i have such sortings in docs but i though that public 3 differ sorting will be big flood, especialy that the list is large now and might be eaven bigger.
Flashed to 5/10-3.
So far 285*9 at only 1.35v (1.31v windows)...I know just set 300 and try....well i'm the kinda guy which progresses step by step......next 290...295...etc...hehe
update on my LBBLE 0515FPDW
300HTT at 1.4 volts ran 3dmark and superpr and about to run prime95 with aquamark...

please post voltage as set in bios not in windows....all mobos undervolts...please put into consideration :=)
so where is the right volt? BIOS or softwares?
well, i left the voltage at stock in BIOS (3.5 vcore) and raised it using clockgen. my rig is stable so far at 280HTT with stock voltage. i raised it by .5 volts in clockgen, so i assume it is at 1.4 vcore, but i can raise it in bios instead later when i decide to reboot.Quote:

I bought two week17 3200+ Venice today:
- LBBLE 0517BPDW 0963
- LBBLE 0517BPEW 0057
I set BPEW under Zalman 7700cu and first boot to the CPU@251*10 1.4Vcore and straight to StressPrime2004 :D
- 3200+@2510MHz, did 24min and then I went to job...
If everything is ok, SP2004 should be working on 5h30m now
