Nope, not bloody likely - this same combo works fine with my winny. My PS is a Seasonic Super Tornado 450. Thanks for your concern though. I think something is goofy with my motherboard so I have another on the way to try. :p:

Hi all.

I couldn't even get my Venice to do 32M SuperPi at 295x9 at 2.5-4-3-7. So I flashed with 414-3 and I got it to SuperPi at 270x10 at 2.5-4-3-6. This was at 1.425+123% tho :( My RAM seems to like 2.8V, when I have 2.9 or 2.7 I get lots of Memtest errors..

I tried doing Prime Torture-Blend and it only ran for 7min at 290x9! Using Smartguardian by highest CPU temp is 38C during SuperPi or Prime (at 1.71V).

Suggestions on a better OC?

Last night I Primed (95) for 11 hours. NO error at 2700 mhz 1:1 (200)divider.
Will Prime at 2800 again tonight but looks 100% stable...

Badge, try 2t or 1t with a single stick. With my venice 3000+ my TCCD will do 290 @ 2.5-3-2-7 At 2t with a gig or 1t with 512. But with a gig at 1t caps almost exactly where your mushkin is stuck. ~270mhz. Im not sure what to blame, but it doesn't seem like the ram's at fault here. (Why would you lose 20mhz just for adding a second stick?)

I'm freaking out lol my new 3200+ from newegg comes tommorrow. I'm begging for anything but EPEW.

So EPEW for the most part sucks? CBBLE, LBBLE are good?

Mine is an LBBLE FPAW and right now does 2.9ghz @ 1.6v on AIR(check the venice overclock results forum). And a couple of other "XPAW" are doing the same or higher. In short, I doubt anyone with a "PAW" stepping is going to get a turd.

Just receved today. Oem from monarch, 3200 LBBLE 0516EPGW. No time to test yet. Will post results when I can. Hoping for anything better than my CBBID winnie.

If you are looking for 2.6 - 2.65 its fine - anything about 2.7 wouldnt prime regardless of volts. :(

If I was betting man, I'd yes, it'll at least do the average 2.7-2.8ghz. Don't quote me on that though. :stick:

any chance you can show us your bios settings. i have the dfi sli-d board, but my memory is tccd g.skill. wow 2.9 on air is awesome. i got an xp-120 and i'm hoping i can reach that speed on air :). thanks.

Who cares about Prime. Other programs can be run to ascertain stability.

Remember those settings are for BH-5 type ram and NOT for TCCD based ram.

You can trick yourself into think it's stable too by using apps that show it to be stable. Although it could SuperPI - it would fail Prime95 and while gaming she locked up. So while I could say it's Super PI stable, it locking up gaming shows that is NOT 100% stable. I hate prime95 as much as the next guy but cmon it does show stability when run at length.

The first letter is the day it was made, so I wouldn't think that'd be true. Unless the quality across batch numbers is the same each day, which is possible. I don't know anything about how cores are made. :-/

Get the 414-2. Do a search for it on the forums and youll find the link.
