After looking at the DD NV-68 i think that it will work with SLI...Not that it matters to me right now as i am only going to run a sinlge 6800GT on chilled water. But those H2O blocks look SICK nearly the same as the DD just a dif core design and cost 45 buxs less and cam also be gotten in Derlin (lucys basterd) i have to make a copper to for mine...
not to be the bad guy here, but the blocks look really restrictive, is it possible you can make the channel of the block 1/2" ID? I'd like to get one, but I don't thinik they would be any better than going with a traditional just gpu block, I only have 1 card, it does look cool as hell though with that blue water in it, heh.
I have a whitewater cpu block with the duel 1/2" outlets, could I run each outlet to a seperate card with these blocks?
For this kind of parallel setup, I would suggest running 2 pumps, one pump for each line, to guarantee more-or-less equal flow between those 2 cards. I tried running 1 pump before and I noticed sometimes that the water in one of the line did run at all, or ran at much slower rate. But, that's just mine though since I am bad with physics or hydraulics or whatever it's called. You can probably calculate the needed length of each line to ensure same flow rate for parallel setup.Quote:

Using the DFI NF4 SLI, are the PCI slots still useable? I have a TV tuner card and my Audigy card that I still have to get in there...

You have to use barbs that are 1/4 NPT.. Try to find either elbow or the 45 Degree angled brass barbs.. Theres a link mentioned a page or 2 back.
It will be a tight fit for the PCI slot next to the last Block but it may be do able. I have my audigy 2 card in the last slot.

I love the blocks, but i think that your setup has a little issue.
You are joining the outputs of the graphic cards in a single tube, this tube is the same size has the output ones.
I think you should have a different radiator for each card, maybe use a dual 80mm rad on the top/back of your PC70.
I think this is what your talking about like my set up.. 3 seperate water runs to each component.. one for each graphics card and another for the CPU.
2 seperate rad.. 1 for each graphics block and a thriple threat for the CPU. hehe
Some more pics.. THe tripple rad for the CPU is in the front and the 2 rads for those Ultras are in the rear.. 4 Danger Den 12v pumps in total! :)
With my Maze4's i can *just* squeeze my audigy2 into the bottom pci slot and that's only when i arrange the hose clamps properly ...if they stick out just a fraction it's a no go.Quote:

it's not the greatest angle but you can kind of see how close the card is to the hose.
back on topic - don't get me wrong, those blocks are really nice and all but why are ppl concerned about cooling their ram at the expense of flow? i only have a single pump (aquaextreme 50z), cooling my cpu as well as the cards which is at 2650 atm with 1.6v and my cards o/c 450/1150 @ default volts dont exceed 40c under load. my view is that it's just more flow loss when the ram is happily passively cooled. core blocks are also alot cheaper than full card blocks too.
i guess it's the frickin bling factor :cool:
I actually have a new Linksus wireless card right below the last Graphics Block and the Audigy 2 PT in the last PCI slot. That wireless card fits perfectly. :) WIfe is now happy as the Cat 5 going threw the living room was'nt too pretty.
My cards are runing at 450/1200 at 35-40C with a bios mod for 1.5v... And this is with the newer 71 drivers that add about 6-7C to the temps.. Before the idle temps were at 28C! I want to go more but that would mean i'd have to hard mod the cards and i'm not really lookin forward to killing 1200 bukcs worth of graphics cards just yet.

you'd expect performance with 4 pumps :D
1 pump per card.. 2 on the CPU. Only thing holdin this down is volt mods.
once the novelty has worn off a little i guess you'll be ready to volt them?
i need to give mine the bios and see how much further than 450 i can get.

Courtesy of EQuito (these are his), we now have barbs-on-top SLI blocks here. The plexy is much thicker than the original version to accomodate the barbs.

what size barbs in those pics ? still fit for DFI NF4 SLI boards ? delrin version ?
Barbs are 3/8". Yes, can still be used for tight-gap DFI or MSI.Quote:

Got my H2Gun blocks today for DFI SLI setup today . The blocks are better in the flesh as the pictures dont do them justice. Should have them setup tomorrow once some fiitings are procurred.
