just ordered one in sweden....should be in stock 29/1 ...now my only problem is : where to get 6800GT for pci-e ..MSI preferred..anyplace in EU that will ship to Denmark.
OPB has his board... we will see some interesting things soon...
I wonder how stable is the vcore the vdimms at any voltage. Can someone that has tested this board comment on it?
Boards seen at CES, another update...
Another update comming (more order places)...
DFI nF4 Ultra - D here:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=50421
is the pci-express x4 slot on the dfi board for the same function as the one on the via kt-890? http://www.anandtech.com/tradeshows/...spx?i=2319&p=3
im not sure if the picture is from the right board (the one that should do AMR) because i cant see how you can plug pci express 16 card in the 4x, the slot is not "cut-off" the end is closed
Nvidia just published that it will not co-operate with manufacturers that use the 4x slot for SLI (drivers will not support it). Regarding the KT890, I think transam had a sample board, the layout looked different though.Quote:

Yeah, with the new info on making the Ultra into a SLI, this would be the board I would like to get.
Some info here: http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets...oc.aspx?i=2322
D_o_S, you might want to see the 2nd post on the 43rd page of the thread here:

Quite a nice sumup although nothing particularly new.
Very nice thread, will post a link to it. Another update then...Quote:

Urgent: Does Zalman 7700 fit on the Lanparty Ultra nF4 board?
edit: If not, does the XP-120 fit it?
This question has been asked so many times, and still no answer :(Quote:

Bottom line... is this board worth it?
I mean, excluding some of the higher voltage settings it doesnt read out to be much different then the ASUS or Gigabyte boards.
But, everyone is up on arms over this one.
Worth the wait???
Oh yeah, btw... whats the difference between the SLI-D and SLI-DR, is it just dual raid options?
Yes, it is worth the wait, it oc's better than the ASUS definitely.
i have been told that a hyper 6 is a better choice for that......and a 7000B actually isnt more than 2-3 degrees hotter than the 7700....Quote:
