Mine does - and that MCP-T chip at the side is rather hot.

DAMN! :( Oh well. I checked temps everywhere on my board and the only things that get hot are the mosfets and the cpu. ;) Mem is slightly warm... but not really. Mosfets though I have cooled... I will have pics in a little bit of what my setup looks like for reference ;)

Because I am testing multiple cpu's tonight, and also hooking up watercooling... my coolermaster case is too tight to remove the heatsink every time... i could keep it in the motherboard tray, but then when I wanna hook up WC'ing I can't easily. That'd be why. hehe

Yep, it looks pretty dinky but it works pretty good!!
I would say of course, yes it would.
I check CPU via bios, DDR via mosfet/multimeter.
Memory is 512mb xms3500 X 2. 3.05v @ 2.6v in bios, 3.15v @ 2.7v in bios, and 3.25v @ 2.8v in bios. I've kept it @ 3.05v.
2.8v would be ok to start yes.

Sysfailur, if you get a chance, can you explain how you check the DDR voltages? The connection points exactly, I think I know, but would like to be told for sure.

DDTUNG, amazing work figuring out the vmod points.

I have one of these boards, and going to vmod it later today. Just need to pick up the trimmers.

Just done a Super Pi @ 211fsb x 12x and got 42secs
for interest I have moved my ram to the same lots as in the
pics above and set bios as follows...

Still Can't get 12.5x @ 211 I do not think it is mapping
correct when " that fsb- as when I have a Vmod linked and dial 211*12x
the prometeia temp rockets until it resets :( not a prob
at 12x:confused:

I'm still using the orginal Bios - has anyone flashed to a newer
one? did here there was one not check to see if its true.

Your sisoft mem bench is lower than mine @ 207mhz fsb :\ Hrmm, yet you ARE stable @ 211mhz. Are you using 1 or 2 chips of ram? What slots? More info please... what hard drive are you using?

EDIT: And there is no new bios for it. 1001.C is the only one I think.

EDIT: Woops I missed what you said about the slots. NM

How bizzare.. theres a note that the Audio drivers are not for the Asus.. I guess its using a non Nforce APU. I'm getting this board Friday and thats kinda a let down.

edit er..then again mabye not.. now I'm all confused. I think thats just for the non deluxe version of the Asus.

You beat me to it, and yes, I think its for the non-deluxe version, which doesent have the MCP-T , and so only normal audio, not SoundStorm :)
