all fine and dandy as of now... unfortunately i need to wait couple more days for the OCZ Booster to arrive :(
installing win2003 server and other stuff.... i'll be playing with it and hopefully by the end of the weekend i will have some OCing fun... :)

received the Neo today... gonna look up the revision tomorrow, 3am now.
btw, do the latest revisions come with an upgraded BIOS? my CPU aint here yet so I can't have a look
Im sure they do. If they dont them i am screwed up the but. But from what ive seen around the forums it should be fine.
I've got a board with the same k04099***etc serial at the moment, with another on its way (which should be the newer revision *fingers crossed*).Quote:

Perc, taht is a known bug with the msi. It seems to be a grounding issue with the system. Its only on the msi board with high end psus. It seems that only the really good psus have the grounding sense on it that immediatly turns it off when it realizes is not grounded correctly. You might want to try plugging your system into a power strip that you are SURE is properly grounded.
Im not sure if their is a fix for this at the moment.
got a new neo2 and have some strange readings from speedfan. the temp corresponding to the cpu socket, i get a temp of -44, i'm currently on air. anyone else with this problem?
@Gravedigga : , i see from ur sign , that u run at 255 ur bh-5 , have u tried higher?
I'm asking this , because i can prime at the same ram voltage and 254 (statistical error margin :) ) , and all timmings aggressive through tweaker , but anything above .. is unstable (even with massive ram voltage), , also i have a 0408A2 taiwan chipset.
For example i cant be stable (get BSOD's some times) at 260 even with 3.6 - 3.7 volt, and at 254 3.37v i primed for 6 hours today( i got bored and stopped it).I m almost sure that its not the memory, cause scaled perfectrly linear to this voltage.
At last i tried the vdd mod , but didnt give me any gains.. :( (tried 1.87 instead of 1.67).Any idea to stabilize at 260 and above? or its my winnie's memory controller that holds me back
hmmm? thats a good point. thing is i had the mb out of the case when this occured so maybe it was the plug and the power strip i was using? ill have to try using my antec once again and try using differnt ways of plugging it in. i wond up just buying a generic 500watt psu by "allied" my rails are decent and it doesnt seem to have all them sensitive sensors like the antec so it just works... anyways thx for the heads up it deff gives me somthing to try next time i get a chance..Quote:

U have 2 x 256MB or 2 x 512MB?
2x256 ., and i'll try again ,(one more time..) , thnx for the reply
btw . why use tras=1 ? i think the a64's IMC is using minimum 5 either way
Yeah, don't know that the IMC have a max. of 5, while i tested this settings! ;)
And it's saved with A64 Tweaker and start @ startup. Looks nice anyway! :D
