I have a KD7-Raid, and have had every MB that ABit has released since the KT7-R, and I would have to say that I am not very pleased with the board. I don't know what else I would've bought, but it still doesn't change the problems the board has. Compared to the KX7 it's a P.O.S. I'm not sure it's entirely Abits fault, more like VIA's kt400 chipset, but hey, Abit has the final responsibility since their name is on the board.
Hence my "ceiling" statement. I honestly think we,ve gotten spoiled. In relative terms my KD7 is not nearly as good as my KR7 was, but I'm still pullin down damn near 17000 in 3d mark and the machine is staggeringly fast as a whole. He did ask for someone to say something good about it though after all.

This is all I'm saying. Everybody including myself ALWAYS wants more, but think of where we've come to when with performance like this we're complaining about the equipment!!!:slobber: Although Mistical's talking about the wrestling match Abit boards can sometimes engage you in which I was tag teaming with him and his buddy on the other night.:rolleyes:

Everything is going good right now, well SORTA, I have to buy a 400w power supply, well don't have to, but that's what I'm getting so I can run this XP 2100+. :) Which is most likely the case, right now I got my old processor in it, Thunderbird 1ghz. And the processor is on it's way back to googlegear, because I think something might be wrong with it as well. Waiting for that status asap.
So, any news from that Abit guy yet? any fix to those motherboard yet?
If you're referring to the KD7 bios, then yes, if the minor irritations for which Abit boards are famous then no and I'd almost feel cheated if I didn't have to go nose to nose with mine at least a little.

well, actually i mean for the at7 max2 board.... i guess its the same fault on both board, and now there is a new bios for the kd7 but where is the bios for at7 max2 then?
