Hurry and install it !!!
:)
Put under cold asap :D
Let us know if it's the same :banana::banana::banana: as Malay :D
hurry up and make Overclock on it.
Results!!!!!
^^^ this is not his chip ..lol ,it was picked up like two weeks ago, there was one more posted on OCN that was delided and results were posted when Haswell hit the stores so yes you can probably find one
Damn. I want to see some good results finally so I can go pick one up. My 3770k benches most 3D benches with 4c/4t at 6400-6500, so unless I get a 6100+ 4770k, it won't be much of an upgrade. :(
^^^ I'm sitting on 5.0 (1.29v) Malay -retail L310B489
4800 just about doable after de-lid

have L310B492 batch coming my way, any info on this batch?
Well damaged another good cpu, three out of five for me across two different boards. Haswell seems like the only relevance it has for me is 4/5Ghz 32m lol.
Will post the new batches I pickup tomorrow.
^^^Xtreme Memory Hoarder
P.S. how you damaged the CPU ?
I know right:)
Well not quite sure, I just know that I set 2.5 input booted at 5Ghz, then while at -130c pulled raised vcore to 1.75v and started raising multi and when I got to x59, it rebooted and now it will hang on 71 if you try to oc, even 5Ghz, at any voltage. Flashed bios, tried more voltage for everything (pch included) at 5Ghz, memory at 2400. . . all result in hang on 71, pch initialization error I think as that is what is displayed on the OLED.
I think something is damaging the DMI, because this has happened on another cpu on a different board, except the cpu would show 71, then reboot constantly while this one will run fine at 4Ghz but anything higher than that will not post. The other cpu I killed hung on 78 a bit different.
All ES cpu's are still alive and well.
Batch# L307B240
4.7 with 1.4 Vcore. Water cooled. No delid.
This was yesterday on 4.7/1.34 Vcore. Before Prime stable. Now on 1.4 I can run Prime and game without crashing. Temps hit 100 on Prime.

What's the max core voltage you think on water?
one of my best cpu is dead too , he died for no reason on phase , first code 40 and reboot cod 00...., i think intel is very happy with the haswell Rma rate=)))
if we remember at the past , before (2-3 monts)haswell launch..rumors that incredible arhitecture can hint on Ln2 8ghz and more...
I think mine is heaving same symptoms as well ->71 and I only raised iod .270 and VCCIN 2.1 (first it was stable 32M (PSC)2600 tight and after first 71 code it wouldn't do it again with loose timings )..Haswell looks more and more like a FAIL
i've only seen that 71 dead cpu phenomenon on M6E, what boards u using
The "FIVR" crap integrated VRM i think has something to do with damaged cpu's.
Instead of cpu working with less voltage, scaling better with voltage, overclocking better it worse than without "FIVR".
And quite sure Intel made big changes from ES to retail and it appears that instead of making the retail better, it made it worse .Quote:

It clocks worse, it scales worse with voltage, it is more fragile, what the f**k?
I say big changes because there are changes in performance too, B0 was a little less peformance than C0
A friend has bought an 4770K and it's not doing more than 4.2ghz because it requires 1.28v and it start to throttle?
Man- 4.2ghz with 1.28v i had an i5 750 Lynnfield doing it about 3 years ago.
i5 750 on 45nm.....:shakes:
Same here George :/ , 3 out of 6 cpus already died on me. First one at 1.92v. Running wprime 1024 at 5700Mhz on cascade -110c Load on Z87-Pro , screen went blank , code 00. Second died Running 3DMark06 at 5936Mhz in the second cpu test I got bsod then only code 71 on M6E @ -110c load 1.85v. Third just died 2 days ago running Cinebench 11.5 at 5.4Ghz at only 1.72v. -110c this retail cpus are very very fragile. Now im scared to push more than 1.76v on my good 4670K 6.2Ghz cpu , I don't want to kill it so soon , so far Retail Haswell not looking good.
ocf ( I usually get 71 with PSC based RAM when pushing VCCIN and Ioa .250 iod .270,on Samsung I get best results on Auto and just volting RAM only )
EDIT;looks like he's not quite dead yet..(cache @ 1.2 )..this chip makes me nervous :shakes:
