If you add R-1150 when the system is cold or running you will have no idea what the static pressure will be when the unit warms up. This means even if the pressure is fine when running, the unit could blow apart as is warms up after you shut it off. As a safety measure they needs to be a pressure relief valve on the R-1150 stage. I didn't read the entire thread so I don't know if there is a pressure relief valve or not.
